Some Slickdealers have been visiting 2 Firestones to get 2 tires for virtually 1/2 price.

Think we could just come in and do 1 tire at each location?

I just got back from firestone and replaced 2 tires and used 2 coupons. It was simple as asking. I asked if I could use both and after reading them he said OK. Good deal!

Yeah they will only let me do one coupon/one tire (I went in with my quote page and asked). Its alright, I have two that are pretty close. I am going to get one done tomorrow during lunch and then the following day during lunch also as I am slated to get the other 2 replaced. I got 2 about a month ago and my other ones were low on tread. Great timing.

I assume this will work too but online they have the Firehawk Wide OVAL for 15% off automatically online. So after all the fees/taxes etc it is going to be 115.18 - (50$ coupon) = 65.18 a tire.

If that isn't a slickdeal, I dont know what is.

Tires Plus stores will also accept the Firestone coupon. Actually they have the same coupon offers as Firestone- so I guess Firestone owns / controls these stores.

http://www.tiresplus.com/coupons/
or more direct: http://www.tiresplus.com/popup.js..._150dollar

Additionally Tires Plus will bring in tires that they sell but do not have in stock at that store for no charge. Firestone wanted to charge me $30 a tire to bring in a size/make of Firestone tire that they did not have. Dunno if that was because it was a model they did not usually stock or what.

For those wanting more than one tire -and where the store is sticking to the one coupon per person policy - print off additional coupons and bring friends, spouses, kids, heck even the panhandler on the street along - and you will be meeting the coupon requirements.

For those of you that don't know, there is a survey on your Firestone receipt.
Doing the survey gives you $10 off $25.
I was able to stack it with the $50 off $100 for a $60 savings.

I tried that but they refused it. they said they will offer only one of coupon.

Based on what I remember (FYI - I'm rounding up) . . .
Balance = $12
Disposal = $3
State Tire Tax (NJ) = $2
TPMS = $10

Used coupons at Discount Tire. They had to order them but as long as I paid for them before the expiration date they accepted them. They were cheaper for the tire by $5 and they gave me a rebate for using their credit of $30 total saving for me was $250 for 4 tires. bounce
