The Home Depot ad arrived and as expected, Kingsford charcoal is on sale again. They are priced at $7.97 for the twin pack of 20 LB bags. This is the same price it was during the Fourth of July. This is your last to stock up until Memorial Day. The sale starts Thursday 9/1. Last time, stores had pallets of the stuff ready to go.

This is Kingsford Charcoal Briquettes. Match Light, Briquettes with various woods added, Competition or lump is not on sale to my knowledge. I'm sure there will be several people coming in here to whine about lump not being on sale. I can't control that. I can only post the ad that has Kingsford Briquettes on sale for $0.20 per pound. Lowes will come out with their 16.6 pound bags of Kingsford for Buy One Get One Free at $7.48, or $0.23 per pound. With luck, they might even put their Stubbs Hardwood Briquettes on sale again.

I have just under 300 lbs still in the garage, so I might only end up with a couple packs that should give me enough to last until spring. Between my Weber Kettle and WSM, I go through a good bit of it.

I just got back from my local Lowes and they have pallets of the twin packs of 20 lb bags for $7.97 as well. The sale is already going there. I took a picture with my phone and that is what you see below. The Stubbs and Cowboy charcoal products were not on sale.

I really would like to see Lowe's put Stubb's Hardwood charcoal on sale again, but don't know if Lowes would let it conflict with the Kingsford sale.
