Yes, albeit overpriced so I usually buy that stuff when we get the 20%+30% weeks or get a raincheck. They also used to sell Lelo and other high priced sexual aids, but have cropped that section down to lower priced offerings... Nono is right beside the razors, along with other pricey shavers. The Clarisonic used to be on the top shelf between Olay and Neutrogena. They recently stopped selling it and have now replaced it with a $55 Sonic Dermabrasion tool - sorry can't remember the brand.
What state are u in if u don't mind me asking, just to compare and contrast
If it's on ur sig I can't see it I'm mobile
I have to say I've never seen it maybe they sell them at high end cvs locations like Beverly Hills/ culver city / LA

I'm in NYC. Stores are not as spacious as yours and tend to have a more dept store feel to compete with the direction other stores like Wags and Duane Reade are going - strong focus on skincare and beauty, but darn expensive.

Did anyone who did not get the $10 ecb beauty club email make a purchase to qualify for the ecb on Nov 1 get a $10 ecb? Today would be the first day to find out if it is really select or for everyone. I made a purchase yesterday but won't know for myself until tomorrow. TIA if anyone can confirm.

I had a heck of a time with the register coupon update using ECB! Be very vigilant checking your receipt after the transaction, but before you leave the register.

The register scanned my two ECB and both said pending validation. My total was more than expected, but I paid anyway. Realized afterward it didn't take off one $4 ECB. It only took off the $5 ECB. Had to return to the store and ask the cashier for it back. She said she has no idea why it did that. My total was way more than enough to use the additional $4 ECB. I paid $11 OOP.

I feel like calling customer service on Monday and complaining! Total BS! Had I not been vigilant and returned I would have lost the $4 ECB and they would've kept it.

Why do they do an update and don't explain on their website or to anyone what the heck the new policy is or the purpose of this so-called update?!?! I think it's limiting how many coupons total you can use per item/transaction sort of like Walgreens does already. Does anyone know if I'm right or wrong?
As a reference I redeemed a Rogaine raincheck and used 3x $10 ECBs.. no issues. I've read on several posts about an "update" but still not clear what update it is..

If you see "Pending Valiidation," the register/store has been updated. It doesn't instantly take off the ECB until the cashier hits "Total." Before it just took it off and you could see it. Now, the screens show "Pending Validation" when a CVS coupon is scanned, whereas before it instantly showed the amount of the CVS coupon/ECB presented and scanned. PITA! My experience is that it will kick off coupons at the end of the transaction even though it accepted them and allowed them to be scanned.
Ahh thank you! I did not even check the screen today..

There seems to be so many changes to CVS lately? Such as this, the auto deducting, the ECB paper size.. Hopefully they don't change the rain checks..

Here is the tally so far for one of my cards. My Beauty tally is over 10k but the receipt only has space for 6 digits.
How is your 2% tally so high? Doesn't it go according to your OOP pretax?

I am reading about the update.. It is true it is impossible to get a negative subtotal with the new update!?

No, you can get a negative subtotal (i.e. have your coupons eat into tax) BUT you have to have your CVS coupons/ ECBs scanned first and then have the cashier hit total and then after that, when the MCs are scanned, your subtotal can go negative eating into tax. I did this a few days ago. The trick of course is that you need a cooperative cashier.

Before I would just put the coupons in a stack in the proper order and all was well but now you have to tell the cashier to hit total, etc and the cashiers are less likely to be cooperative -- i.e they will for sure ask you why, etc and think that you are up to something. So if you have friendly cashiers then all is well -- just tell them to hit the total key after he/she scans CVS coupons and ECBs and then hand them your MCs.

Thanks Smilie. I was reading that the new update now causes the last ECB scanned to be adjusted down, but good to know it is YMMV and based on the cashier!

One thing I noticed tonight with the register update - I used to be able to depend on my coupons showing up on the receipt in the order I gave them to the cashier. Tonight, my coupons show up in no particular order.

Since I track my spending myself, this will make me have to be really attentive to what coupons I used. For example, today I used the 4/12 cosmetic and .79 paper towels CRTs, plus ecbs, but my 4.00 and .79 coupons show mixed in with my ECBs on my receipt.

This was not a fluke, it happened on multiple cards, so I'm pretty sure this will continue unless they make another change.

I also noticed that my cards - that didn't get the email (none of them did) - all still show 'spend $50, get $5' for the beauty club line on my receipt.
