I don't use Hulu. But latest alpha 2 is now able to play Netflix and HD movies. Are you trying it with A2?
I have alpha 2 installed.

I didn't drop by here last night but my nightlies now have working hardware video, hd youtube and netflix. Also the chrome fix is already built in, so alpha2 + more fixes.

See the thread here: http://tinyw.in/cm9touchpad - grab the very latest build.
I installed update-cm-9.0.0-tenderloin-KANG-20120229-060001-signed, thinking it might fix my hulu problem, but it didn't help. I still get an unsupported OS error. Also, I've been loosing connection after trying to post on here from my TP, on both A2 build and the nightly.

Lastly, I installed the resolution mod with that nightly, and couple of my home screen icons got stuck in between the sliding windows. Not sure if you are supposed to do a clean install, I didn't.

You should be able to upgrade without problems, I have. However since you have a lot of problems, you might think about a clean install, since I am guessing it should help alot.

What type of wireless encryption are you running? I have noticed my ICS TP had issues with coffee shop that had WEP, but works fine when I am on open or WPA/2

is there a way to get all the apps to automatically download to the hp touchpad after installing android alpha 2? This happened with another tp that i loaded android cm9 on but it didn't happen to mine for some reason.

Also, is there a way to fix the gallery from crashing? I also see 2 gallery options when I press hold down on the home screen.

I also noticed that my main browser crashes a lot more now with alpha2.

Thanks.

Anyway to change the browser identification of chrome? I can't seem to find it in any preferences. Its starting to get annoying that websites pop up the mobile version of the website.

Honestly Alpha 2 has been very solid for me, even the nightlies. With all the problems you are having I would recommend you start over. Webdoctor the TP, and start fresh with the newest nightly of Alpha 2.

Also try the new chrome browser, its fantastic.

Not that I am aware of. I know this is a common problem people are having and I believe they are working on a way to do this. I honestly have had pretty good luck on mine getting the desktop page.

I ended up using this guide to dual boot and install. Much clearer directions than the one in first post.

NetFlix runs perfect and so do all the apps/games I installed so far! Loving it!

That's a good walkthrough of the installation. I'm still using CM7 in dual boot, keep putting off CM9 with all the glitches I keep hearing about, yet now I think I'll make the jump.

As explained many times in this thread when CM9 for the touchpad especially the new nighties of Alpha 2 are very good. They are no worse than CM7 and infact are much better. ICS is a really tablet OS, where as CM7 was really a phone OS adapted for a tablet. I would strongly encourage you to upgrade, it is well worth it. A vast majority of the people here will agree with me too.

Only everyone who has tried CM9 :-)

I would be amazed if a single person prefers CM7 to CM9

Iagree

Although this guy might prefer CM7. laugh out loud

CM7 makes your TP look and feel like a big phone, but CM9 makes your TP a real tablet. nod After trying CM9, I'd almost rather use WebOS than CM7.

This by a landslide. Those that are still on CM7 REALLY need to upgrade to CM9. There really is NO comparison.
