EXPIRED OFFERS:
In PA, I do not get 25/25 for $79.99 triple play bundle. Please see the attached screenshot. May be in other states, they are offering 25/25.
http://i.minus.com/ibtHDOZwPQGuhf.png

You can add a line below if your Current triple play offer is different or better.
NY - $79.99 - Prime or Extreme HD w/ Showtime Bundle, 25/25 Internet, FIOS Digital Voice Unlimited, w/ Free Set top box, $300 Visa or Multi Room DVR Free w/ 2 Year Agreement, and $5/Off Monthly for "FIOS Ready Properties" (YMMV).

MD - $79.99 triple play bundle (Prime, 15/5, FiOS Digital Voice), $5/month off, $50 AMEX Reward Card (with code), $300 VISA; other combinations available

For those with existing FIOS Services, you may want to first call Verizon for the best offers available or sign in to MyVerizon and see what's the best bundle they are offering online. If you're out of contract, I suggest signing up as a new customer, perhaps under a family/roomate's name to get the full new offer.

Its $500 via Verizon Visa® Prepaid Card issued by MetaBank™ pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Use where Visa debit cards are accepted. Must have service for 60 days with no past-due balance. Card mailed within 90 days of install date. Other card terms and conditions apply.

BEST DEAL:
About a week ago I logged onto Verizon and went most of the way through the 5-step package selection process, but I canceled out at the end and didn't actually purchase it. Today I got an email from them with a promotional code saying: "Thanks for contacting us. Here's a discount coupon for you. Take $5 off your bundle for 24 months."
So I went ahead and signed up today (install date 12/7 – I can't wait!) and used the Promo Code from the email and it knocked the price down to $74.99/month, thus saving me $120 over the 2 year contract. Plus I have another code that will also get you an additional $50 Amex gift card.

My bottom line:
$74.99/month for 2 years
+ $300 Visa Gift Card
+ $50 Amex Gift Card
--------------------------------------
$60.40/month (after GC)

I finally got my $300 card from Verizon. Please note there is a $3.00 maintenance fee starting the 13th month so use the card before 1 year is up. Also, there is a $6.95 fee to replace the card so don't lose it and there is a 1% foreign transaction fee if the transaction is made outside the US. I recommend just applying your card to your Verizon account and have it give you a $300 credit. It will be used up in about 3-4 months that way depending on your monthly bill. This way you don't have to worry about it.

As for the person who received a card for more than $300, the paperwork says:

Please note that the total card value may be higher than your Verizon Visa Prepaid Card offer to off-set taxes and fees included with your original order.

anyone still getting this deal? my 2 year contract just expired. going to re sign up as someone else in the family so we can get some "new customer" deals.

anything else i can do to get a sweeter deal?
The deal changes constantly, but I think right now, depending on what's offered for the Philly region, it is probably a $200 GC, $5 off per month for signing up online. OR instead of the GC you can have a free DVR for a certain period of time, either 12, 18 months, or lifetime.

Just tell them your local cable provider is offering you a sweeter deal (ie. $64.99 for triple year, 2 yr price guarantee) and they'll counter offer with a valued customer credit of $40-50/mo

They won't deal with you. Something about Verizon compensation structure that does not incetivize the CSRs to keep the current customers. We had to switch to Time Warner (got $200 for switching, but what a POS service!!!) and then came back to Verizon for an even sweeter (welcome back) pricing.

Not true. It all depends on who you get on the phone. Some reps are super helpful and willing to help you get the best deal, while others don't give a $hIt. Persistence pays off. I was able to get my monthly bill almost cut in half.

Verizon is offering this deal again for their "Black Friday" sale. I got notice of it in the mail and found it on their web site. It is for new customers only.

Does anyone have any tips for signing up for this and getting all the bells and whistles with it?

I am a current Verizon customer that is out of contract and will probably sign up for this under my spouses name. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

A few days after I signed up I called them back and asked for the cancellation department. I told them I was having second thoughts because (insert Cable company here) offered me a similar deal for $10 cheaper a month. Most likely they will offer you a $10 credit for 2 years not to cancel the install.

Also, I got another $10 off a month by using Verizon Connections which is their discount for employees of certain corporations. You can check if you are eligible here: http://verizonconnections.vzcomportal.com/

Don't sign up for the service through the Verizon Connections if you are doing share the network reward. Share the network reward requires sign up through their site. Don't worry though, after your order is submitted and you have a verizon login you can then go back to the Verizon Connections and check your eligibility for the discount there.

There is no longer any $5 coupon or free STB. However, after you place your order and before your install date if you call them and complain about the price (say cable has it $10 cheaper a month or that their taxes and fees are lower, etc...) they will most likely take $10 a month off your bill.

That sucks. I thought they were offering 1 HD DVR box free for life as a standard now.

It depends on what sign up offer you get. Last I checked you could get either the free multi-room DVR OR the $300 GC. If you are planning on getting the DVR anyway it makes sense to take that offer depending on how long you plan on keeping the service. Take $300 and divide it by the cost of the box per month and that is your break even point.

There's no $5 code, but they lowered the price by $5, so it's a wash.

After this original deal was posted, the most commonly offered price was 89.99 with a $5 bonus for ordering online that brought the price down to $84.99, then there were some $5 codes around which brought it back down to 79.99,

But that is the currently offered price, so now there are just less hoops to jump through.

Thanks for posting about this...it turns out that I was also eligible for an extra $10/mo bc of my employer Repped!

Tried to sign up with a different name for same address. Verizon wants a $250 refundable deposit via credit card --- doesn't mention when this will be refunded. Also the internet sign up page states I will not be able to transfer my existing Verizon telephone number.
Has anyone paid the $250 before and actually got it back? Should I take the risk of signing up for new service with new telephone number and hope I will be able to transfer old number once old service is canceled. Plan is to order new service under different name - once that is activated immediately cancel existing current service and transfer current telephone number to new service order.

I'm in Virginia. Out of contract and can't get a good deal. Considering going back to Comcast but really happy with the FIOS package. Just hate the new price.

Anybody have any ammo for me to use when I call?

Thanks in advance,

Mark
