Yes it'd work, BUT you'd probably want to get something a little bigger. I have a 3 year old... if he was 1 or 2 I'd jump on this deal! Smilie

Not trying to TC, but thought I'd mention this as a bit of a warning. These things are usually faster than you think. And you can't turn a 2 or 3 yo loose in them b/c they will be drawn to crossing the street or running into the side of your car/fence/house. This means you have to run around hunched over and out of breath looking like a fool in front of all your neighbors. So think twice before fulfilling your desire to endow your child w/ a motorized vehicle (I had fantasies of it b/c I felt deprived of the privlege as a child. My burnt orange banana seated bike just sucked).
Ok, enough of that journey down memory lane, but you've been warned. These power wheels are going to give you an undesireable cardio workout. If you go for it anyway, don't forget that you can conveniently disconnect the battery and declare it broken.

I just let my kid loose in the playground/baseball field. Never has any trouble.

I installed a remote kill switch on my daughters Dora quad. She can't go until I turn it on and I can stop it at anytime during a panic situation.
She will step up to a barbie jeep this year and I'll do the same to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y...ata_player
