Obama Administration Reportedly Plans to Create Internet ID for All Americans

Radeck 7,491 251 January 11, 2012 at 02:09 PM
Big Brother and his cronies just can't get enough centralized government regulation and power....now they want to create a centralized ID system....that's just great...so now rather than a hacker or thief needing to get all your passwords to different banks, credit cards, etc...now they only need to get access to one ID to enable them to completely wipe out their target...and for government agents to track down what citizens are doing and saying (any bets on if this will be used to track down those who post critical items of Obama or other politicians?)

only a moron would trust such a system...but then Obama seems to collect a lot of those around him.

President Obama is putting plans in motion to give the Commerce Department authority to create an Internet ID for all Americans, a White House official told CNET.com.

White House Cybersecurity Coordinator Howard Schmidt told the website it is "the absolute perfect spot in the U.S. government" to centralize efforts toward creating an "identity ecosystem" for the Internet.

The National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace is currently being drafted by the Obama administration and will be released by the president in a few months.

I feel more comfortable entrusting all of my valuable data to my Windows Live ID and Google accounts.

lol...if they dont lock down their wifi, you can still sponge off them, but you will need to use your own Obama-approved user ID to access your sites.

So Instead of real threats to the internet such as sopa/pipa, A year old news story about something not even in the works of being implemented is suddenly newsworthy because it came from the Obama administration.
