I have a question I hope somebody can answer. I upgraded one line on my T-Mobile account because it was up for a full upgrade, but I want to actually use it for a different line on the same account. When I ordered the phone, I assumed that I could just put the sim card from the line I wanted into the new phone. However, I was told that with the Samsung Galaxy S II, I would have to activate a new sim card. Does anyone have experience with this and know whether using the phone on a different line than what I upgraded with will work?
That was my understanding as well, the new SIM was for wifi calling. You may be able to take the old SIM into a store and they can transfer the info from the old to the new. They did that for me when I bought my SII. No charge.
