Get an Intermediate SUV for $159 per week/$22 per weekend day or a Standard SUV for $169 per week/$25 per weekend day. Use Avis discount AWD S767700 for rental pickup by 6/30/12. Valid at airport and off airport locations, may require Saturday night keep, blackouts apply.

Can add coupon MUWA033 for $30 off weekly at airports through 2/15/12.

Why I like this deal: The weekend rates are really good for SUV's and come with unlimited mileage. The Standard SUV rates are very good if you need a bigger SUV. In some cases you can save over 50% on standard rates. Avis have nice vehicles in most locations. It is valid until summer.

Good deal.

I bet they'll hit me with that surcharge for being under $25 tho. Even still it's a decent deal for my trips up to IKEA...haha.

I had no idea rental services charged for GPS navigation. $15/day. And $5/day for XM Radio?

I bet they make a killing on that.

Ooh, this is a great deal. Seriously thinking about picking one up - I'm moving stuff from 250 miles away and this would be a huge benefit, plus save some miles on my car.

I tested the dates I need 6-2 through 6-9, and it doesn't say invalid or anything but the rate isn't near $25/day.

That would be a 1-way trip & yes you could do that but I'm sure they'll add extra.

Unless you're looking to drive from Florida to the Northeast in April (after Spring breaks are over) then you could rent ANY car for about $10 day. You're doing them a favor by bringing thier fleet back North.

Side note with Avis-
I highly suggest you avoid them for overseas rentals.

1. If u are 5 minutes late returning (u pay 1 extra day) Does not matter if the car was picked up @ 5PM and returned @ 9:10am-Day contract ends and car was due back @9
2. Get a ticket (parking/speed trap) they will provide the police with your address and charge $25 or more administration fee + foreign trans fee of $3 or more.
