Anyone ordered the new deal? The $5/mo online savings is gone and ST Max is being offered. Is there any other change?

Quick question, will AAA offer the same ST Max package? The $5/mo savings weren't offered by them earlier.

I don't know if postponing your install date is going to automatically going to upgrade you to NFL ST Max.You might have to cancel your whole order, get your refund if you paid to get a HR34 and then submit a new order.

I would suggest calling and make sure you speak to a retention CSR and press them until they finally agree to upgrade you to NFL ST Max.

I signed up and activated service on 06-30.I called last week and complained about hearing about the deal starting on the 19th and at first the retention's CSR wouldn't budge. She put on hold for a minute and came back saying that her system was now allowing her to give me the free upgrade to NFL ST Max.I would also bring up the issue with Viacom.
So, just so I'm clear, you were able to get Sunday Ticket Max after talking with them? I had my installation on the same day as you, 6/30...I wanted to make sure before I called to complain also. I also had a person at my wife's work who got the HR34 for free, instead of the $99 that it cost me. Still a deal, but I hate losing out on another deal! Mad

Ok, cool...had to work around a bit on the phone, wish I called during the Viacom blackout, I'll know better next time, all I could get was $5 off for this month and then did manage to get the Sunday Ticket Red Zone/Max tacked on for free also after making friends with a Denver Bronco's fan in the Sunday Ticket department. All good... Big Grin

For this who ordered May-June, how long does it take for the "referral" discount to show up? I ordered the Costco deal with 06/09 install. Called on the referral discount the day of the install (9th) and got it added after 2 calls. They said 6-8 weeks, and it's been 8 weeks already...maybe next bill (as my bill is on the 9th)?

I called twice before activation to ensure that my referral was in the system. Both times I was assured that it was. I called after it did not appear on the second bill (~ 4 weeks in) they gave me the same script "6-8 weeks", I called after it did not appear on the 3rd bill and they said it appeared to never have been put in the system and cannot be put in after activation. They ended up giving me about $65 in credits to help offset, but that was all the guy could find for me.

Moral of the story: make sure you can see something in the system in writing saying that your referral is in the system prior to letting them activate your account.

Just called Customer Service and it's being escalated. Of course it was NOT on my account even though I had called on 06/06 with the referral and had service installed on 06/09.

I'll probably get the run-around and then offered 3 free months of crap I don't need/want. But what about my friend who referred me? The saga continues...

WOW! $10 referral credit showed up on my account on 08/23.

Kudos to DTV!

I was successful in getting the AAA deal and refer a friend. My installation isnt until the 15th but I told them I was going to cancel the entire thing if they didn't add the refer a friend with AAA. They had to escalate it to a supervisor but he got on the line and was very nice and added it for me no problem

bump... does anyone know if a move that occurs between the 2 year contract that results in no line of site still be eligible to save all these promos during an account suspension (vacation mode if you will)? I spoke with DTV before my move and they claimed I could suspend the account, but would all the promos would be lost and offered more promos, but of course did not even come close what the AAA+refer a friend+ the deals from last year+GCs...
