I need to come up with $22k in about 6 weeks. I will get paid 3 x so that's $10,000. I'm still quite a bit short. ideas?

Come on OP give us some more. You make a bad bet recently? Maybe you thought Madonna would have a nip slip during the halftime show? Been playing some late-night Texas Hold-Em perhaps?
Western Sky Financial [westernsky.com] will give you up to $5k overnight but the APR is over 130% (no shit, look at the terms on that loan - their TV commercial spokesman even says "yes, the money's expensive"). I'm sure there are other places like this that will do similar things if your choice is paying back over 100 times what you owe to these guys or having your kneecaps broken then I guess it's an easy call to make.
