Yamaha GigMaker Acoustic Guitar $120 with FS at Costco

Costco [costco.com]

Product Features
Spruce Top
Meranti Back/Sides
Nato Neck
Rosewood Fingerboard/Bridge
Gig Bag, Chromatic Tuner, Instructional DVD, Strap , Extra Strings, Extra Picks
Yamaha Gigmaker Standard Acoustic Guitar Pack, Natural
Spruce Top, Nato Neck

I was comparing the guitars ~$100, such as the Epiphone DR-100 and Silvertone SD3000PAK on Amazon.
Then I found this deal.
It is $15 cheaper than the price listed on Amazon, so I decided to give it a try. yummy

However, I couldn't really find a comparison review directly between those 3 guitars.
Can anyone share their experiences?

Hope this can help whoever is looking for a beginner guitar. Enjoy!

Wow no kidding - that's a pretty good deal. I can't comment on how the brands compare, but I've used Yamahas before and they generally seem to be pretty good units. Nice that the kit comes with the bag, extra strings, etc. I don't know if I'd use the DVD, but if you're a beginner that would probably be a really nice way to get started.

Seems like a good deal. Been looking at the Yamaha FG700s bundle for about $100+ more than this. Wonder how the two guitars compare in quality (I'm a complete beginner).

Yea, I was looking at FG700S too. But this price is just too cheap to resist.
Just get it and start play it already in my opinion, if you don't like it or decide to get a better model you can always return it to Costco in 90 days....woot
