They shed like no other. Seriously. And be prepared for lots of socializing and training. GSDs are my favorite breed but be forewarned that they are a lot of work. If you put the time in though, they will be the best dog you've ever had. Smilie

Saw a 9-month old, 140 lb Great Dane at Petsmart the other day... it got down on the floor to greet our 4 lb Bichon. laugh out loud
The owner said the dog's father was 200 lbs. Bigeye

I love german shepherds...thanks for sharing your pics! Our shepherd passed away about 5 years ago and I still miss him. He was such a great dog. Frown

We now have a dog from the Humane Society. Vet thinks she's got border collie and bernese mtn dog in her. She's super sweet.
