The Buffalo LinkStation is a NAS, though. Always on, TCP/IP connectivity.

Using routers with USB ports isn't a good option. The throughput is abysmal, because the processor just can't keep the pipe filled.

i was looking up ways to set up the NAS, and i came across this page [tomshardware.com]. They guy offering an answer linked to SD.

I wonder how i can check out the OS and see what kind of options it has. I know the Synology will allow me to set up my own mail server w/o purchasing a domain.

I just have one sister, and it was crazy enough. I've told my fiance I won't have more than two of the same gender if I can help it. I'd rather adopt if it looks like #3 will be the same as the first two (and there aren't any yet).

I don't know how my dad made it... With my mom, my sister, myself... and even our pets were/are female!
