Android anyone???

Hi All,

I would like to get viewpoints from those who use Android OS. I have been an Apple person but i'm interested in Android. I would like to know if Android will offer me a different or improved user experience or would you say the differences are subtle and just a matter of taste? Basically, I have an iPad and would like to know if it would be worth my while to get an Android tab.

Thoughts?? And please no flaming, or trolling.....

But those figures are also US only...WP7 and Nokia is selling very well (not great) in Europe because phones are easier to sell over there (you don't have to get the stupid carriers to buy into your company before they ALLOW the public to buy into your company). Plus, we haven't had the Nokia's released in full force over here yet, should happen in maybe 1-2 month(s) with a pretty big marketing push from Nokia.

The amount of ignorance in society never ceases to amaze me.

However, thanks for the advice from all. The topic took an interesting turn at some points. I wasn't entirely interested in a Windows Tab but my interest has peaked and perhaps i'll wait to see what they have in store.

My autocorrect changed the spelling, but personally I try to limit my obnoxious grammar corrections for times when I truly don't understand what the poster wrote.

Yeah, I figure since i've done the absolute minimum all of my life and still managed to get thousands of dollars in college scholarships, maintain a 3.9 GPA in Engineering and get a paid internship at a Fortune 500 company why bother working any harder. However, maybe if I spent more time correcting grammar and vocabulary on the internet I may have achieved more in my life.

That reminds me, I heard a big news story on all the unpaid internships...1) who is so stupid they would work for free (yet alone have to qualify they were cool because they got paid to work!) and 2) didn't we abolish slavery? Ehhh, I guess California didn't take part in the war so that is why they still allow Hollywood to have slaves!
