To celebrate former first lady Pat Nixon's 100th birthday if she were still alive, the Richard Nixon Foundation is offering

Free Admission to the Richard Nixon Library, Museum & Birthplace

in Yorba Linda, California,

on Friday, March 16, 2012

If you're in Orange or LA Counties or the Inland Empire, this is a great opportunity to visit for free.

Regular price for admission $11.95 Adults, $4.75 Children ages 7-11, $8.50 Seniors, $6.95 Students, & $6.95 Active Military.

Hours are 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

The Richard Nixon Foundation is a privately supported, non-profit institution dedicated to educating the public about the life, legacy, and times of the Thirty-Seventh President. The Foundation supports exhibits and programs on the nine acre Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Birthplace, a three-dimensional walk-through memoir featuring 22 high-tech galleries, movie and interactive video theaters, the spectacular First Lady’s Garden, the President’s faithfully restored 1910′s birthplace, the magnificent full-size replica of the White House East Room, and the flower-ringed memorial sites of President and Mrs. Nixon.

Attendees can see the custom limo that Nixon took on his trip to China, go inside his helicopter, and tour his childhood home among other exhibits.

The Pat Nixon centennial exhibit opens to the public at 11 a.m. on Friday, with an opening ceremony.

Julie Nixon Eisenhower, one of her two daughters, is scheduled to appear, along with Nixon speechwriter and television personality Ben Stein.

Admission to the Nixon Presidential Library & Museum will be free that day. The library is at 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd. in Yorba Linda.

The centennial exhibition runs through September.
