I am currently a Verizon FIOS 25/25 Internet subscriber (69.99/mo, no contract) and I am moving soon to a new address that is also eligible for FIOS Internet. The place I'm moving out from would still need the service. I was wondering what would be the best option for me to maximize deals/rewards (such as sharethenetwork or the 500 GC deal that ends 4/21) while keeping the FIOS services up for both places (it's OK if Internet is down for a day). I thought of these options:
Utilize Verizon's Moving Center and move my current service to the new address, sign up new service at the old address.
Cancel my current service, sign up new service at both old and new addresses.
Keep my current service, sign up new service at new address.
Ideally, I'd like to keep my account user ID and the grandfathered plan with me. Maybe there are better solutions I haven't thought of?
