This is the best deal I have ever seen on these antennas. These paper-thin antennas have excellent 4-5 star ratings on Amazon and are highly regarded. Great customer service and hassle-free retuns too.

1) For beginners and your reference , it's helpful to look up your location to see what channels you will or will not receive... check HERE: (Not always accurate... It's missing the majority of channels I get with my cheap antenna)

www.tvfool.com

http://www.antennaweb.org/Address.aspx

2) I have both Mohu and alternative http://www.meritline.com/artec-an...31475.aspx , I think alternative is better overall.

3) See a detailed comparison of HD Indoor antennas here: HDTV Expert [hdtvexpert.com]. Thanks deluxman.

4) Few tips on setting up the antenna in your house with still using Comcast cable for internet. This only applies to the home/house where you have a circuit box to manage all your cable/internet connectivity in all rooms and you want to connect the antenna in a single place and want to deliver the antenna signal to all your rooms
- Find the room which is in the direction where all the broadcasting stations are
- Install/hang the antenna as high possible either on the window or near the window on the wall.
- Usually the outlet in the room as two ports for the cable. Top one is for the feedback and the bottom one delivers your cable signals.
- Connect the Antenna to the top port.
- Go to your basement or the place you have the circuit box which has all the wiring to supply video/internet in all rooms
- Find the cable which comes from the room where you connected the antenna( this is the feedback cable) and disconnect from circuit board.
- Now disconnect your incoming Comcast cable from circuit board
- Plugin your feedback cable to the port where Comcast cable was. (This step will make sure that you get HDTV in all rooms in your home)
- Now because you need to run internet you need to plugin you comcast cable to the room where you want your cable modem to be. So find that cable from the circuit box which goes into your room or where the cable modem is and disconnect it from the circuit box and connect the comcast cable and this cable with female to female connector.

I have cable for ESPN. I know if I cancel cable and buy this antenna, I will not get ESPN.
Can one subscribe cable only for ESPN? or What is the best way to get ESPN while using Mohu antenna?

Got one currently on a Homerun box and receives 131 channels in South LA. About 25 of those have stuff I'd watch (i.e. non-religious English language).

the
Is Satellite an option? Direct TV or Dish Network is generally much cheaper but they don't carry local channels (which the Mohu fixes).

Are you saying that you already tried the antenna? ... And that it was worse than a cheap rabbit ear? Or, are you just using a hypothetical situation to thread crap? I suspect it is the latter .....
I haven't tried it yet. But what is the logic of paying out of my pocket to ship it back if the product is shitty (doesn't work as advertised - which is what customer expect before they buy)?

Here is what I see:
People said it's working so well. But they'd rather to get a Plus (amplified) version. If it's working so well, why do you even need a better improved product?

You never tried the product. You assumed that it would be shitty, despite the tons of positive reviews. And, you expect the company to pay to return a non-defective product. Wow! You are really stretching here. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Since they make a Lexus, all Toyota's must be flaming deathtraps.
Since they build McMansions, all apartments must be rat-infested slums.
Nobody would create an improved product with more features unless the original product was absolute crap. Brilliant logic! vomit

I look forward to you other posts - just in some other thread. wave

Read what I said again. "IF" (my words) they sent the shitty product that "did not meet customer's expectation" (your words), then why in the world do I have to pay shipping cost back? Customers expectation is what they advertised. IF the product does not work as adverstised, they should take it back on their shipping.

You are trying to tell everyone just buy it, try it. IF it doesn't work as advertised, JUST PAY $5 to ship it back? That's crazy.

There is no such thing as a "Digital" or "HD" antenna. They are the same as the old 70's antennas that everyone had in their attics. Rabbit ears may work but you need to be close to the towers.
Thank you! worship

This antenna is better for HDTV than rabbit ears, just like those stick on cellphone antennas are better than the internal ones! LMAO

I have an extra one of these. If I get the basic leaf and install this motorola piece, will it act the same as getting the more expensive leaf with amplifier?

Are you running 30+ feet of coaxial cable? If not, amps are pretty worthless for most individuals.

Actually yes, unless there is an even taller building next to you. Look at the attached compass image.

CBS and ABC can be picked up with rabbit ears. W-SW direction. Everything else is aimed E-SE direction.
