correct. Soon sprint will have TONS of wimax bandwidth to dump on someone. Why not the prepaid guys? They did it with their Iden network.
Well I meant LTE which Sprint owns. WiMax is actually Clearwire which Sprint buys access to.
There's MVNOs getting WiMax now, so that's already happening.
If I was Sprint, I wouldn't allow the MVNO to have access to the LTE network for at least a few years. It's going to take Sprint til 2015 to get their LTE fleshed out and then it's easy to assume they'll want a couple years more at least to get it payed for.
People who actually need/want the speed LTE should offer will be willing to pay the premium and there's no benefit to wholesaling it until you reach a point of excess capacity which won't be for several years.
