Adobe Reader (File Bar disappeared-Save,Minimize etc)

1,768 424 May 31, 2012 at 08:15 AM Get Adobe coupons Coupons
I use Adobe Reader X every day and just this morning when I opened a few PDF's my file bar was missing.

In the attached picture there was a file bar above whats shown when I do choose many different actions such as saving documents, opening, emailing, etc.

Also I cant minimize and maximize as that option usually on the upper right corner is gone.

Ideas?

F9 just moves what you see in my original picture up off my screen. Photo attached

How about F8? Also, try to maximize the program's window. In XP, that involves right clicking on the Tasbar button for Adobe Reader and selecting "maximize".

In Windows 7, that involves hovering over the Adobe reader button, letting the thumbnail pop up, and right clicking on the thumbnail, then selecting "maximize".

This should allow the minimize/maximize/close buttons to appear.

F8 - Hide Toolbars
F9 - Show/Hide Menu Bar
Ctrl-H - Read Mode

Your best bet is to do an Alt+F8 which will reset the toolbars.
