Locate an FFL dealer [gunbroker.com] by you. Prices vary, but expect to pay roughly $25 unless you live in CA.

Nice price, this is what my local dealer sells M&Ps for and I've never seen anyone do better.

Once again, no love for Cali. Great price though, cheapest I've ever seen it locally is $499.

By the way, the .40 compact is not on the CA DOJ roster of approved handguns.

Thanx for the post though.

I'm certainly no expert on handguns, but I know enough to call it a magazine and not a clip, so with that novice disclaimer stated...my God, is it an industry requirement to have all 9mm and higher semi-auto pistols be Glock clones? I love the hell out of my Glock, don't think it's ugly at all, but I also wouldn't mind some real diversity in the marketplace.

The only thing these two guns have in common is that they both have polymer frames and metal slides. Polymer frame + metal slide != Glock.

Don't get me wrong, I love my glocks... however I don't really buy into the whole idea that all polymer guns are glock clones. a polymer gun is a broad category that glocks, XD's, M&P's, etc fall under. Glocks are probably just the most well known amongst gun and non gun enthusiasts.

If we generalized things that much, then pretty much any product could be considered a copy of another...

My response was towards lolQaeda's idiotic post. Since he deleted it, I'll delete mine.
