Anyone who have a regular all sport from costco have any luck with a cool counselor upgrading their membership to super sport?

I talked to one guy yesterday about it and he gave me some crap about how they would change my prepaid account into a monthly and credit it towards a regular super sport membership at 60$/month WTF

There is no expiration date either, so you could buy 6 years worth for around $1800 by just buying 3 passes at Costco. I confirmed this with a manager at the San Ramon Supersport.

All you SoCal people looking the Costcos in Las Vegas have them at all three locations.

Just picked one up in the Culver City, CA (Los Angeles) costco. Anyone have experience activating these?

Alright, I went to the Costco in Issaquah WA and then redeemed it at the Issaquah 24 Hour Fitness. Wow, they didn't charge tax on this, which makes it an even better deal!

I have a super sport voucher for sale in the Hoston area. $600 for it ($599.99 in store).

PM me if interested. If no one bites, I'll just return it.

Was purchased in LA.

I want to know why this is such a good deal. People on here hate postpaid phone contracts and even TV/cable contracts, but will happily spend $600 to save $7-12 a month on their gym fees?

Seems like it'd be easy enough to haggle at the actual gym around the $33 all club membership, in a city like Houston with only 2 super sport clubs but dozens of sport and active clubs, it would make more sense considering you aren't on contract.

IMO, that is an incorrect comparison, and incorrect data. In general, these plans are saving people 50% or more each month ($15 for sport, $25 for super sport).

I don't know about your gym, but for my 24hr fitness plan, it is a month-to-month plan. If I wanted super sport access, I would be paying $50-60 a month. If I pre-pay with this, I save $25 or 50% each month by paying 2 years up-front.

Regarding your example, it's not like major cell phone carriers are saying you can pay $60/mo on a month-to-month basis, or $30/mo on a 2-year plan. Your only choice is the 2-year plan, or pay a bunch extra for the cell phone.

If you want to divide the cost of the cell phone into the monthly payments, then the cell phone plans are arguably a better deal. They give you the discounted monthly rate on a post-paid monthly plan instead of requiring you to pay everything up front, like you would with the gym membership deal.

Did you find it in a Houston store, or purchase in other state?
