Sweet deal. Used this for over a year. No complaints at all. Fantastic completion too. Any usenet veteran knows the crazy high retention is over rated as you almost always get what you need almost as soon as it is posted. Hehe it used to be 10 days retention was crazy high. Worse case add a low cost block account for the off chance you need over 300 days. I also don't think you will be canceled or throttled like *ahem* others do on their low cost super sale plans. ;-)

With cubenet now as well, however Not sure I'm happy with them. I think I might have hit some kind of cap on my unlimited plan and am now limited to 1.4mb down when just 3-4 days ago I was hitting 5.2MB/s
... very disappointed with their "unlimited plan" this month...

You didn't read the fine print that says after downloading 3 TERABYTES of porn you are capped at 1.4mb downstream the rest of the month.

Why do you even want to have to watch yourself or worry about it on an unlimited plan? They don't deserve your money for that crap but it seems all highwinds sellers do it. Gave them up years ago.

Seems like a nice deal but I'm not familiar with the provider. Does Frugal cap speeds? I've briefly looked over their web site but I couldn't find any info about download speeds...

I'm on Astraweb right now paying $11.99 a month for unlimited. The service is fantastic and I'm hesitant to switch to Frugal because of Astraweb's reliability and speed.

Will switching to Frugal from Astraweb be a noticeable downgrade? (Besides retention of course. 300 days is more than adequate for my needs; Sickbeard and Couch Potato apps) Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
