I just answered this in another post because I mentioned that I have a 12% off discount through the federation of american consumers and travelers on my DTMCSA rate plan so I thought I would share it with everybody. I'm not a member and have had this discount for over 2 years. Was super easy to add. Everybody should have at least one of the 2 I posted below Smilie

Here is how it works:

Call T-Mobile at 877-453-8824 and mention that you are a member of Federation of American Consumers and Travelers. Give T-Mobile the FACT promo code: 10045TMOFAV, if they ask for it.

FACT PHONE # 1-800-872-3228

Might be easier to add it through the online chat via tmobile.com/ (this should be no problem) but I recommend you call! Just say you have a discount code that you would like to apply to the account and just give it to them real quick and hang up, don't spend any time on the phone. Point of this is so they don't ask for further info. I added mine a while back and it seems like a hit or miss on them asking for FACT ID number.

T-Mobile did not ask me for my FACT membership number to verify membership. . If you have to join FACT to get your FACT T-Mobile discount, it is still totally worth it. FACT membership is only $12 per 3 months and you can join online at usafact.org... You can then cancel it within 60 days and get your money back, if you want. You are already a member, if your health insurance is through Golden Rule

link to sign up : https://www.usafact.org/joinnowbasic.aspx

another option :

WOrst case scenario = add the freelancers union discount which is only 10% not the 12% like the above.

*ADD THIS VIA TMOBILE.COM ONLINE CHAT*
https://be.freelancersunion.org/d...corporate/ click life then tmobile to see
You will need your t-mobile information, your member ID, name of the organization (freelancers union/ working today) and their phone number (800.856.9981)

THat's it! Completely FREE to join and only takes 2 minutes.

Everyone who has t-mobile should have at LEAST this discount. It is easy, free and completely legit.

HINT: In addition to having the phone number of the group (800-856-998) You need a member No, and the organization's discount code - 7777TMOFAV

enjoynod

I just signed up for the family value plan with t-mobile and have been trying to get a corporate discount. I tried AAA, and Blue Cross Blue Shield and both failed. Can anyone tell me if the Freelancers or PTA or FACT are still working or are worth signing up for membership. Or any other ideas.
Thanks

They told me over the phone the Freelancer's Union membership would work, but I couldn't give you an honest answer until they give me the discount which could take up to two billing cycles.

To get discounts they want you to fill out a form and send it to them with proof of membership.

Freelancer's Union is free so signing up won't cost you anything.

Got a promotion for T-Mobile Advantage - 10% discount + Waived activation fees ($35) + Discounted devices. If you order over the phone and mention promo code 13997TMOFAV. It's super easy for new customers and a little more work for upgrades but overall it works.

Check out the attached flyer for the comparison between a regular plan and a discounted Advantage plan.

how is it an advantage if everyone can just sign up with that code? i think they must be restricted to an existing "advantage program" members.

It says on the top of the flyer... "Student rate members" .... OP must be a student or something it is like a corporate discount. Most likely not everyone would be eligible.

urlhasbeenblocked is a web site that offers discounts and promotions to students. When you call and ask for the urlhasbeenblocked discount you would have to give a participating college and your student ID. just fyi

Else, you might get in with that promo and no id.

I am a student and I got this offer from one of my classmates. But when I called, I gave them the code and that was it, they didnt ask me for a student ID or anything, not even my school. maybe not everyone is technically eligible?? I'm not sure....Now, my friend tried to upgrade and he had to call twice.

I personally have found Tmobile's coverage *considerably* better than Sprint coverage, and data speeds for me are off the chart.

I can't compare to ATT or Verizon since I've never had service with them. What I can say is I get >20mb download speeds at my house and between 8 and 12mb at work. With Sprint I got 4-5mb at the house (4G WiMax) and <100k at work. Considering I now have 3 more lines of service for just a little more than what I was paying Sprint for (with SERO), I consider it a win.

Obviously, YMMV on YOUR coverage and data speeds, but Tmobile was a pleasant surprise for me.

/edit/ Also, if your company participates in the "Corporate Perks" website (which I think was associated with the Mastercard Outstanding Offers threads months ago) you should check through them. My company offers a 15% discount on top of my rate... Similar to the program that OP posted. Do note, I did need to "re-up" my contract so watch the fine print (not phone eligibility, just contract extension).

Thanks for mentioning Corporate Perks. Did you get the discount by using T-mobile's "Corporate Discount Form"?

Exactly, sent from my Corp email address. Discount showed up on my next bill which was within a week or so... they did change my bill date from like the 2nd to the 6th, so my bill looked a little odd. It's funny since the form said either send from your corp email address or scan/fax your company badge. I sent it in from my corp email, and then they asked for a scan of my badge anyways. I said the instructions said the corp email address was adequate and then they proceeded to process the discount.

I also /think/ military get 22% off, FWIW so there's another avenue.
