I just answered this in another post because I mentioned that I have a 12% off discount through the federation of american consumers and travelers on my DTMCSA rate plan so I thought I would share it with everybody. I'm not a member and have had this discount for over 2 years. Was super easy to add. Everybody should have at least one of the 2 I posted below Smilie

Here is how it works:

Call T-Mobile at 877-453-8824 and mention that you are a member of Federation of American Consumers and Travelers. Give T-Mobile the FACT promo code: 10045TMOFAV, if they ask for it.

FACT PHONE # 1-800-872-3228

Might be easier to add it through the online chat via tmobile.com/ (this should be no problem) but I recommend you call! Just say you have a discount code that you would like to apply to the account and just give it to them real quick and hang up, don't spend any time on the phone. Point of this is so they don't ask for further info. I added mine a while back and it seems like a hit or miss on them asking for FACT ID number.

T-Mobile did not ask me for my FACT membership number to verify membership. . If you have to join FACT to get your FACT T-Mobile discount, it is still totally worth it. FACT membership is only $12 per 3 months and you can join online at usafact.org... You can then cancel it within 60 days and get your money back, if you want. You are already a member, if your health insurance is through Golden Rule

link to sign up : https://www.usafact.org/joinnowbasic.aspx

another option :

WOrst case scenario = add the freelancers union discount which is only 10% not the 12% like the above.

*ADD THIS VIA TMOBILE.COM ONLINE CHAT*
https://be.freelancersunion.org/d...corporate/ click life then tmobile to see
You will need your t-mobile information, your member ID, name of the organization (freelancers union/ working today) and their phone number (800.856.9981)

THat's it! Completely FREE to join and only takes 2 minutes.

Everyone who has t-mobile should have at LEAST this discount. It is easy, free and completely legit.

HINT: In addition to having the phone number of the group (800-856-998) You need a member No, and the organization's discount code - 7777TMOFAV

enjoynod

Exactly, sent from my Corp email address. Discount showed up on my next bill which was within a week or so... they did change my bill date from like the 2nd to the 6th, so my bill looked a little odd. It's funny since the form said either send from your corp email address or scan/fax your company badge. I sent it in from my corp email, and then they asked for a scan of my badge anyways. I said the instructions said the corp email address was adequate and then they proceeded to process the discount.

I also /think/ military get 22% off, FWIW so there's another avenue.
I just got this response from their team:

We have received your request but have been unable to attach your account to the Corporate Discount Program for Corporate Perks. Our systems indicate that Corporate Perks does not have an existing agreement with T-Mobile at this time. Please verify with your Telecom Manager or Human Resource Department if the company has a corporate agreement with T-Mobile, USA.
Did the organization go by some other name, or was there a special code or number you used on the form?

Well, when I login to Corporate Perks with my work email address and search for Tmobile it shows a code on the site which needs to be put into the form (along with showing the 15% discount on monthly recurring charges). It says something like "mention code blahTMOFAV" when you call in. Looking at Post# 281 it looks like you can actually signup online through this link [t-mobile.com] or, you can download the form here [t-mobile.com] to email it in. I do recall needing a Program number which I imagine is specific per company and discount amount which is the code you mention when you call in.

well update.... i just submitted my MCSA form.
I logged onto t-mobile.com and chatted with a rep (for email records) and the CSR said that i would not have to change anything on my plan in order to get the monthly discount.
also, noted that if for some reason that membership (by way of leaving organization) is cancelled, i would still be able to keep my current plan and i wouldn't have to select a current plan tmobile offers at the time of cancellation.

i guess it really does depend on the rep you talk to. if one doesn't satisfy, keep pegging away at it until you get a rep that is helpful.

keep records folks!

Right, that's the form I used. I put "Corporate Perks" in the Organization Name and left the "Parent Organization" and "Corporate Node Number" blank. Is that how you filled it out? I don't see where I would put a promo code. Thanks for the help.

It totally depends on who you talk to when you call CSR.

Easiest way is to check www.t-mobile.com/corpdiscount or call and ask loyalty department.

Same or less corporate discount as many orginizations
Federation of American Consumers and Travelers, PTA.org, Freelancers Union, etc. I remember reading that students get a 15% discount.

If you are a T-Mobile customer and you aren't getting some sort of discount on your monthly bill, then there is something seriously wrong with you. See a doctor.

T-Mobile have a single cell tower in the center of of the USA, somewhere near Nebraska, to serve the whole country. They can afford discounts. You probably have zero coverage for most of the time, but they are cheap. Most of the time I use Wi-Fi on my T-Mobile cellphone. I remember one day last year I got up to 1 bar of radio coverage. It only lasted 10 seconds and it was gone again, but it was great while it lasted. It reminded me of the old days DXing on the AM CB bands, skipping signals off the ionisphere. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
