Good luck.
Here is the response I got from customer service.
I followed the rules and auto reloaded on 8/17, but the cs rep only credited me $5 instead of $10, I replied to her email and am waiting to hear back.
I set mine up as an auto reload, but I am only getting the $5 reload credit...oh well..

My name is Crystal and I'm from Starbucks Customer Service.

First, I want to thank you for letting us know about the delay in your reload promotion credit that has yet to be applied. I did list below the details of the promotion. I did verify you did a reload and applied your 5.00 credit to account. I do apologize for any inconvenience the may have caused and any confusion with the auto-reload VS the reload.

DETAILS:

Reload: Customers using their app to reload $20 or more on their card during this time will receive a $5 credit. Here is an email announcing the promotion.

Customers must use a Visa to pay for the reload.

Only one $5 credit per Visa account allowed.

The credit will be applied the week of Aug. 27, 2012.

Customers will not be able to use PayPal to make a qualifying purchase. They must make a direct purchase with their Visa.

Auto-Reload: Customers using their app to set up an Auto-reload for $25 or more will receive a $10 credit. Here is an email announcing the promotion.

Customers must be a first-time Auto-reload customer to qualify.

After signing up for an Auto-reload of $25 or more, the first transaction must successfully process by 11:59pm Pacific Time Sept. 24.

Customers must use a Visa to pay for the Auto-reload.

The credit will post within 10 business days after the first transaction is processed.

Only one $10 credit per Visa account allowed.

Note: If customers used a Visa to set up Auto-reload on Starbucks.com, they will still qualify for a credit. However, this does not apply to Reload transactions. Reloads must be processed via mobile app.

Customers will not be able to use PayPal to make a qualifying purchase. They must make a direct purchase with their Visa.

Thanks again for writing us. If you ever have any questions or concerns in the future, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

According to the rules, you should get both.

The $5 is for loading the card with $20, period. The $10 is for setting up auto-reload to do $25 or more (and actually having it automatically reload.)

If you don't get both, make a stink. You qualify for both promos and should be getting $15.

I'm in the same situation, but have to wait the full 10 days since my auto-reload to complain. I'm expecting them to honor the promo (and I did receive emails for both.). Starbucks tries for good customer service. Given that, unlike say a cellphone, they are a luxery item, they sort of HAVE to have good CS. They tick someone off, they'll likely lose a lot more than the $15 a couple of promo credits would cost them when that person stops coming back.

Today is the 10th business day since I have reloaded my card as a new customer following all the rules so if I do not see a $10 credit by Monday I'll have to call it in.

Everyone who haven't received their credit, are you using an Android?

My friend was using iOS and she got credit within the week.

I wish their app supported wifi only devices (such as the nexus tablet). Most starbucks locations have free wifi anyways.

I just spoke with customer service after not having received the auto-reload bonus. (I auto-reloaded on 8/20.) I inadvertently signed up for auto-reload from the "Reload" screen while doing a manual reload ("Make this automatic") instead of the "Manage" menu, so I got the $5 manual reload bonus. The rep said it was limited to one bonus per account despite it saying one per Visa. (I used different Visa cards for the manual and auto-reload.) She agreed to credit me the difference ($5).

I would think the terms would have specifically stated "limit one per account" if it really meant that, but I wasn't going to argue.

I think they do. Though their website only states iOS support, some posts on this thread confirmed support for Android also. I don't have any Android device yet, but it worked on both my iphone 4S and ipad (no data plan, wifi only).

It should work on your nexus tablet, have you tried and what error message did you get - if any?

It won't let me download it from google play (see attached screenshot). I obtained the .apk file and installed it manually that way also and it crashes every time upon execution. Maybe it is a nexus tablet compatibility issue rather than a general device with wifi-only issue.

Just got off the phone with a rep - said that the bonus might've been delayed but she applied $10 credit to my account anyway and said I may get that $10 later on. $20 for $25.. not bad.

When did you write them and how long did it take for them to respond?
