Just called to cancel my service. He offered 1 year for $87, I declined. So he then offered 6 mo for $25 and I accepted.

Yep. That's right. It costs them nothing to add more listeners. So they will always CAVE if you demand promotions. Worst case, I will listen to FM or bluetooth music/radio from my smartphone with unlimited data plan.

Called this morning as well. I'm still in free trial that ends in October but told them that I'd cancel if I can't get a deal/get offer of 5 for $25. He offered $86 for one year. I said if he can match the 5 for $25 offer and he said it is not available. I told him that I found a link online that states it still was (http://www.siriusxm.com/listen1) and he said he'd check with supervisor. He came back and said he could do one better at 6 months for $25.

Thanks for the headsup! Will rinse and repeat after the promo ends.

I canceled my subscription over three years ago as well. Sirius has over 100 stations, but I only listened to two rock stations and of those two they replay the same eight hour block of music all day every day for months at a time.

I recently rented a car that had Sirius service. Listened to it on a nine hour drive and felt the same; that I haven't missed a thing.

You prefer to continuously find new stations, that play the same music as Sirius, during your 9 hour drive? IMO, Sirius is perfect for people that take long road trips. If you just listen to Classic Rock and stay in your home town then there is no need.

Called Listener Care to CANCEL at 1-866-635-2349. Initially, they offered the 6 month rate for 1 year. When I told them that I wanted to cancel uness I got the 6 month at $25 again, the rep put me on hold for a minute and then gave me the deal.

THANKS A BUNCH OP-----I didn't think I could get the 6 mo for $25 back to back!!!!

Just called...asked for the Customer Retention Department, as always...They offered 6 months for $25. I declined. They then offered 5 months for $20. I ended up accepting 6 months for $25. Just FYI of their currrent promos.
