just talked to the rep and he said that if we didn't directly get an offer in the mail or email or some sort, we will not get the $200. He said the offer is tied to specific address or people so if we signed up using the link from a third party site, we would most likely won't get it.

I know it's WORTH A TRY, but I don't think I will go through all these hoops to find out we are not getting it, so I cancelled it. There's no penalty or anything to cancel, so if you want to cancel, call away!!

For Citibank, Paypal direct deposit counts for the requirement. Anyone have experience here at us bank?

Just called usbank csr and I inquired if my promo code went thru, lady stated if I did not recieve the promo code in mail or through email, we will not be able to honor the promo as many people are getting codes shared online. Therefore, I withdrew my application.

QUOTE=ihaveaquestion;54156872]I was instantly approved. But how do I check if the promotion is with the account? I'd prefer not to call CSR if possible.[/QUOTE]

The "this is only valid for people who were targeted" has me worried. I don't know if USbank in the past has honored the coded/offers for all or not.

I will tell them "I accidentally deleted the email and my dog ate the invitation letter".
