Thread Details

After spending almost an hour this morning going through the paper ads and online ads of seven different grocery/drug stores looking for a deal on Kellogg's PopTarts, I got really frustrated and thought, why don't we have a thread in the DS Forum for deal seeking on a particular item? I know there is a "Help Me Find a Deal" forum on SD but most of those in that forum are looking for tech deals, car deals, phone deals, etc. Besides, most of the DS folks never venture outside of the DS forum anyway.

You should limit your deal-seeking request to grocery/drugstore items only, i.e, milk, cereal, diapers, shampoo, toothpaste, etc. No car batteries, tires, phones, computers, appliances, blah, blah, blah......

Anyhow, if the Mods think this thread is a waste of space, they can just delete it. Big Grin

Breathe Right Strips.....

Now here's the problem: I need the Original Tan size Small/Medium. Not "Clear". Not "Extra". Not "Menthol". Original (design wise) Tan (color/fabric style) size Small/Medium.

Lately the deals have been for the wrong size, type, or kind!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

So if ANYONE knows of a smokin' hot deal, I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!

Normally they run $12-15 for 30 count. (about $.50 a nose strip!!!! EEK! ) So if I could get the cost down to half that, I'd be so excited!!

Local Stores: Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, Whole Foods, Kroger, Spartan Stores, Meijer, Walmart, Target (in no particular order...)
Of.you don't have success finding a deal locally, consider eBay. A quick search revealed "buy it now" listings with 60 for $17, 90 for $30, & 180 for $55 including shipping... about $.32 each. HTH!

I'm looking for a deal on Libby's can vegetables. I couldn't do the deal at Dollar General 2 weeks ago as I don't have DG in Boston area. I saw them at Dollar Tree but they're priced $1. Does DT ever have sales on canned goods? Or is everything Always a $1?

I'm also looking for good deal on Begging Strips for dogs. I have the BOGO MQ.

I have Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Stop & Shop, Shaws, Hannaford, & Market Basket.

At the DT stores here in Albuquerque, the Libby's canned veggies have a special sign to indicate they're actually $0.79/can. So maybe double-check "your" store or others around you to see if they're less.

The WM Neighborhood Market (commonly known around here as "the green wal-mart") still has four-packs of canned corn and canned green beans for $2. I'm not sure if you have one of those near you ( but they might be worth checking out. Their everyday shelf price for Libby's is decent, too, if you *gasp* run out of something and need to buy last minute. Think it's around $0.70 per can.

Maybe not the cheapest, but at CVS this week, Dr Pepper 12 pk cans are 3 for $11, get $3 ecb. So the net price is $8 for 3 12 pks. Or if you get the 4/20 coupons for CVS, pair this with one of the other ecb deals to make them a bit cheaper.

Yes, I have quite a nice assortment, was wanting to find them free, will donate to local preschool for snack days........my days of providing preschool snacks are LONG over, but I do remember the days of moms forgetting their days and teachers scrambling to find someone to bring a snack. Just thought I'd help them out by donating shelf stable back-up plan.......Big Grin Preschool teachers have nerves of steel, I am surprised more of them don't drink heavily LMAO

I printed the Dr. Pepper $1/1 12pk coupons when the new "10" came out, they don't expire til 12/31/12, found them in my stash the other day. Guess I need to use them up soon........Embarrassment

Kinda off topic, but anyone with a HealthMart Pharmacy near them----I just got the new coupon book that activates on the 5th, they have Solo plates and cups for .89, darn my procrastinating--all IPs are NLA. Also of note--Polar brand pie fillings, 16oz for $1. I emailed Polar to see if they had any coupons available for the wonderful products, got an email today that they are sending some out this week. How's that for awesome? $1 less whatever coupon values they send. I am really pumped to see how they respond!! I use a ton of pie fillings this time of year for various holiday pastries...............

At my Walgreens there were lots of $1/2 12-packs for Dr Pepper, so makes the cost a little lower if you don't have the IPs and can get a peelie.

I need a deal on a Twister game. Not Twister Dance, just the good ol' original Twister. Target and WM's regular price is around $14.99 here. And I've seen lots of sales for other popular games, some as low as $8 each, but never Twister. I'd like to pay around $10 (or less!). I have Target, WM, CVS, RA, WAGS. And TRU, but it's a little drive.

Thanks!!!

Doesn't Target carry the Elf brand of makeup and brushes--I think they can be had for around $1
