Thread Details

After spending almost an hour this morning going through the paper ads and online ads of seven different grocery/drug stores looking for a deal on Kellogg's PopTarts, I got really frustrated and thought, why don't we have a thread in the DS Forum for deal seeking on a particular item? I know there is a "Help Me Find a Deal" forum on SD but most of those in that forum are looking for tech deals, car deals, phone deals, etc. Besides, most of the DS folks never venture outside of the DS forum anyway.

You should limit your deal-seeking request to grocery/drugstore items only, i.e, milk, cereal, diapers, shampoo, toothpaste, etc. No car batteries, tires, phones, computers, appliances, blah, blah, blah......

Anyhow, if the Mods think this thread is a waste of space, they can just delete it. Big Grin

Looking for a deal on diapers and wipes - Pampers or Huggies..I got 1 Huggies size 3 116 ct and one 224 wipes at Giant for $28 (after a $10 instant discount - diapers was 29.99) with no q's used..any better deals than this? Thanks.
Next week at CVS, buy $30 (3 jumbo packs) of Huggies Slip-On Diapers, get $10 EB. there are still $2.50 IPs around. I also received an email with a q $5 of $30 good till Sunday.

$7.50 for 3 packs is not that bad.

Looking for deal on BN or generic prevacid or prilosec.
I have WM, Wag, CVS, Kroger & Dollar General.

TIA
Costco.com has the 42ct generic Prilosec for $13.99 ($16.99 - $3 coupon). If you're not a member, the surcharge is 5%, making it $14.69 including shipping. Generic Prevacid also has a coupon, but is only available in store/would require a membership.

Thanks! I never think of Costco.

No matter where you'd find Hanes deal, I saw bright yellow 1/1 peelies on Hanes packages in Wags, along with some undershirts 2-3 pk clearance. Do not know for how much, likely YMMV per store managers discretion, but worth checking it out.

Need Lever 2000 Bodywash! It is becoming scarce! Any help would be appreciated. Los Angeles area, we have all the main chains.
Albertsons
Lever 2000 2ct Bar Soap $0.99 ea wyb 10
Use $0.50/1 Lever 2000 Bar Multipack, exp. 6/16/13 (RP 05/19/13 R)
= $0.49

I haven't been able to find a deal on the bodywash for you. Sorry! Only the bar soap. I THINK Food 4 Less has a similar deal on the bar soap.

CVS has the 30 count for $18.99.

Reality, unless you have UPs/RR/ECBs to burn, pill for pill costwise you're in a much better place to go to Costco/Sams/BJs and purchase their generic; generic Zyrtec at Costco runs $16 without store coupon for an entire years supply with an expiration date 2-3 years from purchase. And you can purchase from Costco.com without a membership though there is a 5% surcharge, which may also be an option with the other warehouse clubs.

Thank you! Though my closest Wags is an hour drive, I will have to check it out sometime. I did find a pretty good deal though to let yall know. Family Dollar has the 30ct+10 bonus pack, so 40 tablets for $19. With the $7 off coupon, this makes it just $12 for 40 tablets or only 30 cents per tablet, best I can find so far lol

Try online stores including ebay if you have to drive so far to the reg. stores. I've seen 200 pk for less then $30 incl. shipping.

Target has the Pepsi 12 pks 4/$11, plus there's a peelie on the Pepsi 12 Pk products for $2 off 3 12 packs, making it 4/$9.
