A discussion thread: LINK [radioreference.com] << Ooops 4.3" not 7"

General device PDF [southerntelecom.com] << Ooops 4.3" not 7" also

In other words, skip all this.

The discussion and user guide links are for the 4.3" model. The tablet mentioned in the OP is 7".

Awesome deal for someone just trying to get a first taste of Android tablets. The Big Lots 30-day return policy makes this zero-risk.

I think your on the right path thou. No reference of a tablet on Unidens actual site. Only on the rebadged tablets you link to at southerntelecom

No problem Smilie

I have been looking at low-cost Big Lot tablets and think that the D2 for $20 more may be the better purchase. It has 1GB RAM (the Uniden has 512MB) and there is active ROM development for it.

I bought two of these yesterday and they rang up at the sale price then. Ive been looking for something cheap for my kids for Christmas. The tablets come in white or black. I was able to install Google Play on them and they do pretty good at running the apps. The amazon app store is already loaded on it. Load time is good and videos play fine. For some reason I cannot get Netflix or Hulu to play video but videos look good via YouTube. Games like angry birds play great with no lag. Capacitative screen is good. These tablets are the same as the Polaroid tablets only branded Uniden via Southern Telecom. Only con I've noticed so far is there is only one speaker on the back and it's not too loud. If you we're to put this in a case, the speaker would be completely covered...

Here's a video review of it online. Looks pretty decent for $60. Start at 2:28 to skip the crap.
