Pandora One Radio - Any good discounts on a membership?

johndoehoe22 1,162 189 November 20, 2012 at 04:40 PM
I was looking to become a paid member of Pandora One Radio. I was hoping there would be an available discount or coupon code for the membership but I could not find any place for that.

Does anyone know if there are ever any deals on a Pandora One membership?

Thanks

Buy a full year for $36, which comes out to $3 a month instead of the month-by-month that costs $4 a month.. How much cheaper do you really want? I can't think of anything else I can do for that little money. No, there's no way to bring that $36 PER YEAR cost any lower, and besides, it isn't worth your time to do so.

I don't think you understand the purpose of slickdeals or the meaning of the word 'frugal'.

I think I understand it better than you. There's saving money, and there's wasting time. How little is your time worth, that you're trying to bring a $3 per month cost down? Move on and go try to save money on worthwhile endeavors. Substitute making a meal at home twice instead of eating out at a fast food restaurant, and you'll have saved more than you ever potentially could on a deal, even if there were some kinds of discounts for this. Skip going out one night, and you've paid for at least a year of service. Adjust your driving habits for two weeks, and there's another full year paid for (and that's with a moderately economical car. If you're driving a higher-performance car or a truck/SUV with a higher operating cost, then GTFO this thread with your nonsense).

Talk about wasting time! Why would you waste your time lecturing others on what's appropriate and what's inappropriate on this site? If someone wants to save a few bucks on a monthly subscription that might last for years, why shouldn't they? Sheesh.

I'm good with $36 a year and have been a long time premium member but it appears they don't offer it any longer. In addition, rates have gone up to $4.99 (just say $5 ) and since the annual option is no longer available, that brings you up to about $60 a year now!

That's why I'm out here looking for a deal of sorts myself. Confused

At $5 a month you may as well get Spotify. It's $5 also with a .edu email. You can skip and pick unlimited numbers of times, unlike Pandora One's daily limit. And you can download songs for offline listening.
