Are u sure that sending photocopy of the CD is accepted for the rebates?
Pls clarify me.
This is usually the norm. I always photocopy the install disc and then also include a photocopy of manual or first page whatever the hell it says. Ive always received all of my rebates.
A few times in the past ive even shipped my actual install discs from older software to them. They can have them, I dont give a shit. The only issue is it can make postage more so I stopped doing that.
So to be clear, I can submit page 1 of the Trend Micro user's manual for the Kaspersky rebate, and an email confirmation of a previous Norton Internet Security purchase I made for the Trend Micro rebate? Sorry, I'm so rebate paranoid haha
This is my first time doing these type of rebates. Maybe a stupid question: Lets say I buy 2 separate orders of TM and Kaspersky and while submitting UPGRADE rebates, Can I show the proof of each other as a previous ownership? For ex: I will send Kaspersky CD cover for the TM and vice versa??
my only concern with doing it that way is on your invoice it will show that you purchased each at the same time... and you gotta send in the invoice as well... so it could be an issue as its not previous ownership or some play on the wording... but it more than likely would be fine... if it was me though I would use a different copy of another antivirus program... you got co workers, friends and family...someone has got to have a CD for AV that you could make a copy of....????
Has anyone filled out the Kaspersky upgrade rebate form online? Does it still say
or copy is also ok?
what i do as backup is send in the copy of CD (photocopy) + user manual
rebate comes without any problems.
note: kaspersky rebate take 4 months to come after you mail (just got the rebate I sent in July a couple days back).
You'll get crazy newbies who call 3x a day for 2 weeks straight, and post argumentative paranoia demanding the rebate is guaranteed, in writing, by certified mail, on their doorsteps, by tomorrow evening. Then all the other newbie sheep freak out, and THEY call 3x a day, for 2 weeks straight, and the paranoia explodes. And suddenly everyone's carting their paper back to the retailer demanding a refund.
All those who CALLED to confirm.... Your dad should have silently slept that night.
