Just got this email from Fresh & Easy:

Thank you for being a Friend of Fresh & Easy. We wanted to reach out to you to address numerous news and online reports about the future of our stores.

Our parent company Tesco is conducting a strategic review of Fresh & Easy - they're looking at all options to find the best outcome for the neighborhood market that you - and we - have come to love. While we don't know exactly what that outcome will be, or if Tesco will continue to own the company, we're confident that Fresh & Easy can continue to be your favorite market.

We want to assure you: we don't have plans to close stores. We're still committed to providing delicious, wholesome and affordable food every day. We're still Fresh & Easy; open for business with everything that you enjoy about our store, with even more exciting things to come. That's why we're going to keep on fighting the good food fight.

Now, more than ever, we appreciate your energy in our stores and being able to share a smile with you. We look forward to seeing you soon and thank you for your continued support.

The Fresh & Easy Team
They're closing. They've embrassed themselves with this which they also put up on Facebook and Twitter. Fresh & Easy Buzz feels there may be a backlash since it's ridiculous.Tesco has put more energy into selling off their stores than making their Fresh & Easy unit sucessful. Only 40 of their 200 stores make money (very little). The rest are money losers. They'll be gone before Summer.

Check your JFU account under the coupon section and go to the snack category. I had a coupon for a family size Frito Lay chips and 6 pack, 24 oz bottles of Pepsi for $1.99 wyb a 20 pack of Budweiser bottles (on sale for $13.97 this week). I have found peelies on Budweiser at other stores for $2.00 off Doritos or Pepsi wyb Budweiser. So It would make the Doritos and Pepsi free. Then I was in the store today and noticed a sign for an instant $5 off wyb Budweiser and a family size deli pizza or bone in chicken wings. Well the $5 deal this weekend is cheese pizza from the deli, so it would be free too!

So if you are able to find the $2 peelie and have that JFU coupon, you can get a 20 pack of Budweiser bottles, a family size bag of Doritos, a 6 pack 24 oz bottles of Pepsi and a big cheese pizza for $13.96! (plus tax and CRV) Very sweet deal for superbowl!

Replying to myself so no one makes a special trip for nothing....It has been reported by a few people so far in the other thread that Vons/Safeway has fixed the glitch and it is now working as it should have.
Hopefully some on here got the deal before they fixed it.

Not the lowest per pizza price but one of the better deals for the Digiorno Buy 2, Get 1 Free pizza deal is at Rite Aid. Buy 3 for $15, $10 after coupon (auto deducted for $5 for me) plus you get a $5 +Up in this Super Bowl promo. If you are a Rite Aid customer and have at least $5 in +Up's, it's like 3/$5.

Only 6 sticks...and the package is about the size of a quarter. They didn't have any at the El Segundo Sepulveda Blvd. location as the cashier told me she had marked them all down to clear two weeks ago (they received two boxes full she told me). She gave me a free full size pack of Orbit instead which was nice.

I hope this information is useful to some of you...

I just went grocery shopping at my local Ralphs and in the clearance section I found a full cart of a variety of Twining's brand tea k-cup 12 ct boxes. The boxes of tea I most recall were chai, english breakfast, and earl grey. They were all priced $3.99, which is about $0.33 a cup. I picked up a couple of boxes and they all are good through the end of the year (12/13).

Did Rite Aid earlier in the week, so when I saw that Vons was having a 1 day (Sunday only) sale for Digiorno $3.49 limit 2, jumped on it. Bought 2 Rising Crust Supreme ($3.49 each) and 1 Dipping Pizza ($3.88), the register (didn't go through self-checkout) deducted the max value of the e-coupon $7.01. So for 3 pizzas & a Canada Dry TEN 2lt (e-coupon for free) came out to be $3.96.

I stopped at Ralphs this afternoon and bought a newspaper, 2 CATs printed, one for a FREE Luna fiber bar, one for a FREE Luna fiber, protein, or regular Luna bar - both expire 3/31/13.
