After the reset. My points total is stuck at the same amount even tho I have checked into bonus shows and doing VL. Anyone else stuck or getting increasing in their totals?
My points just updated, at least partially. I hads redeemed 25000 points before midnight that finally were deducted.

I wonder if the 100pt ads will show again for tomorrow's world series. I'm not checking into my usual 350 minute news program tonight because I don't want to max out so early like I did today. The points lag went on tonight until almost midnight (PST). Hope it doesn't happen again tomorrow.

It took me 45 minutes to find a working clip for Modern Family! Yet the whole CSI episode was already posted online. Why the difficulty with low soundclips and the delay with ABC posting their stupid shows???

Aaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Sorry you had issues with Modern Family soundclip. It worked fine for me last night. I just tested it this morning and the Viggle recognized the SC on the wiki

this morning my point total was higher than last night, but not where it's supposed to be, i don't think. i'm still getting notifications if i do something like watch a video, but my point history stops at 1:16am, even though i didn't do my last check-in until 1:37 (the game, which i let run until the end). does anyone else have this problem?

from my experience, when it stops posting in your point history, you are maxed out.. regardless if your point total changes or not, because of the big lag we had again even into the night.. but i was still checking into my last show around 3 am eastern, and let it run through, and whoa! i am maxed out again for the third Viggle day in a row.. but, from what I know, if it isn't in your point history, and nothing post since until the new Viggle day, you are maxed out..

that's what happened yesterday (maxed @ 8pm), but my point history post-midnight is nowhere near 6k, even with the ad bonanza, unless i somehow got credited for a bunch of stuff i did in the 11pm hr that never showed up in the history (i wasn't sure if it might still credit, since the lag was ~an hr at that point). i won't complain if i'm maxed early though. Thanks

i am sure i'm not banned, as i was able to redeem a sweeps entry.

There is another possibility: a 2045 ban. If Viggle detects unusual activity (such as earning too many points too quickly), the system will flag your account and you'll stop earning points. You can usually, but not always, accrue points again the next day. Ace should check into a show this morning and see if the points credit.

However, even if the points credit, there could still be a ban. You won't know until you try to redeem. If you don't mind wasting 500 points, there's a sweepstakes entry in the rewards catalog.

Edit: Never mind. Ace just posted about redeeming a sweepstakes entry.

Will the error pop up somehow? I am curious, or I think I just answered my own question, will it only pop up when you try to redeem?

Thanks to you both. "nowhere near maxed" was actually not true at all Embarrassment Doh. i just finished tabulating everything and by my accounting i'm 68 points short of 6k, so i'm sure i missed something along the way (the points history list was wonky as usual, with several repeat entries).

LOL, i know that point history will repeat some things, and messes me up when i try to go back and count something.. 68 points sounds like a bonus show and 18 minutes... lol.. well, see you at midnight at my next Viggle Party Big Grin

At least you can relax and enjoy your game without the worries of Viggle.. Go Red Sox???

How many ads is safe to do now?
Quote from 2012heat View Post :
idk i usually pick a number that i feel comfortable with and stop
but lately i just been taking the points
i would just say wait about 45 sec to min between ads
Tested this a while back and it must not be the amount of time you wait between viewing an ad but a mystery number of times on the same ad that'll trigger a ban - I waited 1:30-2 min. between tapping the same ad 20+ times. Worked, redeemed, etc. for several weeks then got the user status: inactive ban. (Not trying to brag, just wanted to see if I could test how to avoid getting banned in the future.)

Especially with the World Series being a special event, you might not need to worry about how many of those ads you watch (obviously you decide if the risk's worth it). If it's not an intentional overflow of ads from Viggle wanting to promote the event and it does result in a ban, at least in the past when a special ad repeated a lot for everyone (e.g., New Year's) Viggle reinstated people.
