So with this information ... are people only dumping on this that use ALOT of data ?
Yeah, pretty much. Streaming is pretty popular, especially if you depend on the cloud for your music, video and other media. However, most people are downing the thread because the deal doesn't offer the current fastest speed and/or may have more ambiguous restrictions on what you can use that data for.

Curiously, is 2G or 3G fast enough to stream music from Pandora, Amazon Music or Google Music?

I couldn't find if the service supports SMS short codes on their site. It neither denies nor confirms about short codes.

I called the customer service number and got a polite but clueless CSR. She did not know what short code SMS was. I got responses
"We support SMS"
"all SMS's are short messages"
"you need to contact the company sending you the short code SMS"
"if its not on the website, its probably not supported"

For me thats very important. SimpleMobile and StraightTalk do not support it.

Hoping this services does.

Has anyone been able to purchase a sim card from GoSmart yet? I tried with 2 different CC's and got the same error.

Sorry didn't quite get this.. So i have an ATT iPhone and was planning to move to ST shortly.. So if i got this right in my case i have to be worried if i go over 1-2GB Data/month... tht's bad.
Can't get to zero in on these 3rd party carriers.. everyday i get to hear something worse.. abt throttling/cutover.. loosing the number.

on the at&t sim. I have not heard the same for the T-Mobile sim.

Show me where people were getting cutoff at 1-2GB with the T-MOBILE SIM on Straight Talk.

Speeds look to be at least HSPA it not HSPA+ (4G) on Straight Talk's T-Mobile sim too.

I'm not saying this is a bad deal, but it's a comparable deal at best of what's already been out there.
