I received my full refund (including shipping) from Sharing Spree with in a day. They did ask me to ship the product back. I responded stating I would do so but only if a shipping label was provided as the boutique knew the product was fake and misrepresented it. They did take it off their website, but I told sharingspree that they continue as of yesterday on facebook to claim it is authentic. That is awful. I feel sharing spree has an obligation also to alert customers who bought it. I think the $40 Chi they were selling on sharing spree was likely fake as well. I too hope others find out the eye shadow is fake.
I did receive I reply, a promise of a refund and an apology from Sharing Spree, but so far my credit card has not been refunded and I am keeping a close eye on it, but I'm sure that will take a bit more time.

I too have noticed that there is nothing negative on Facebook about this and I thought that was very suspicious! Now I know why!

I am so glad I found this forum by doing some searching- as far as I know, this is the only place that has a discussion about what is going on.

Wow, sorry guys. It didn't even cross my mind that the item was going to be fake when I posted the deal because the boutique looked "legit." Lesson learned...

I'm glad that sharing spree is refunding purchases.. I just requested mine.

I was told they were going to send a label for me to ship it back, but I haven't received it. It's going in the garbage. I also emailed Urban Decay so they're aware as well.

Dang, the boutique must have lost a lot of money on this.

I did. And I filed a consumer complaint with the Oregon DoJ, and have exchanged emails with the legal department of Urban Decay. Who knows if it will amount to anything, but seriously the boutique should have just apologized if it was a mistake. Now they look like total scammers.

What did urban decay say? I just feel bad for anyone who bought this for the price of $50 that was on their site. But I agree with you, they could have just responded and said it was a genuine mistake.

I agree with everyone that it would have been way less of a big deal if they just admitted that they made a mistake. Also curious what urban decay said?

Urban Decay said their legal department will look into it further and to only purchase from their authorized dealers. But who knows how seriously they'll investigate my email.

I saw the deal on Sharing Spree but I missed the deal so I contacted Bella Sweet Boutique directly and they still gave me the deal. I thought I was lucky. Once I received the product I was suspicious of the packaging and then when I saw the mirror...even more suspicious and the colors looked off. Then I googled fake vs real and that sealed the deal, it is obvious! Here are links to sites I found helpful:

http://vickyhoang.blogspot.com/20...ked-2.html

http://www.thebeautybelle.co.uk/2...-fake.html

http://www.lovelycomplex.net/2012...-so-i.html

I placed the order over the phone on 01/06/13. My credit card was not charged until 2 weeks later on 01/19/13. I contacted Bella Sweet Boutique by email on 02/08/13, 1 day short of 3 weeks since my credit card was charged. From there I received my palette 1.5 weeks later on 02/19/13.

I am a little concerned that it is going to be a major hassel to get a refund from them and it might not be worth the hassel. I may look into contacting my credit card company (thanks to posters on this forum, otherwise I would not have thought of that in this situation). What a bummer. Now, if I buy the real Naked Palette 2 from a reliable shop such as Sephora or Ulta, I'll be looking at it like I spent $75 instead of just $50. Buyer beware and if it looks too good to be true... it probably is!
