Idk if br does that. The ones from at and loft sometimes don't deactivate and don't go off when leaving that store but will in other stores. Also when your order their stuff online it always beeps because they send the sensors activated. It's annoying. I make sure I don't walk through any stores when returning online orders. I don't want to beep. I've also bought jackets online and forgot to cut out the sensor and walked around beeping laugh out loud. I've never had an issue with br. I'm not sure what sensors they use.

Hehe of course! I read them in college... Over 10 years ago. Lol. It may have been when they came out kuz I know I had to wait for them. I had a love/hate relationship with Becky bloomwood or whatever her name was. Bloomfield? She stressed me out so bad.

Sometimes, it just depends on the item. It feels like a stiff tag. It's not very big either.
For BR I've cut them out before. Never had a problem with them beeping in other stores tho.

I saw that post of WSJ. I didn't get to read it though. JCP has many management changes in past year and loss of revenue too. But I personally was never a fan of JCP as I am not laugh out loud Its hilarious that you thought of me when you saw JCP in news LMAO

Went to Sephora to try to do return w/o receipt and they don't give store credit anymore. They do an even exchange. So annoying. So you have to buy then and there. Now, if I ever want to return anything that I'm much too lazy to dig the receipts for then that makes it really hard. I guess I just have to return immediately. No more totes left for me, but from the sound of it, it seems like the crappy ones they give out each year.
