Wow, that sounds awesome! I paid $62 for just 1 script last night.... sure wish I'd seen this a day earlier.

I couldn't read the PDF well so are there any restrictions on how many months you have to keep your scripts with them? I live in NC.

no, no restrictions on length of time RX stays at Wags, can be as little as one month with a 30 day fill.

We have been ping-ponging between two grocery stores that offer $20 or $25 gift certificates for transfer of the same prescriptions back and forth. We tried Rite-Aid before but they denied any prescription that had been filled there before. I wonder if that is the case at Walgreens.

actually, if you watch the sales, Walgreens does have good deals on grocery type items (paper goods, cereal, canned goods, soda/ice tea, etc). They also now carry their own store brand of cheese, cream cheese and other refrigerated/frozen items at many stores.

Is there any way to find out what they charge for a certain medicine? Just curious how much more than the $4 I pay at Wal-mart each month. Awesome deal though! Smilie

Just an FYI, if Walgreens holds true to form. this coupon will be available in their weekly circulars in the Sunday paper as well as in the store. No need to waste ink printing this.

But, repped anyway for alerting me to look for the new Q. Many other drugstores and grocery stores will acccept competitor coupons for prescriptions (CVS, Kroger, Publix), so don't just consider Walgreens with this Q.

I bounce back and forth with every prescription - the only problem is when you have to get a new prescription filled since most coupons are for transfers only. Target used to give a paltry $10 gift card with new prescriptions, but that was better than nothing. In November, Publix offered a free turkey, and I happened to have 5 new prescriptions waiting to be filled (not just mine in case you're wondering). Filled up my freezer and still have a couple left after the holidays.

new invention, it's call the telephone. try calling the store and getting a quote over the phone. Even if it's $10, still worth it for a $25 GC for a one shot time.LMAO

however, it is wise to print it out anyway JUST IN CASE the store circulars are no where to be seen. Every now and then I've found the circular rack empty or stores that were late in getting their shipment. Don't leave it to chance.

(I work in a Walgreens pharmacy) We don't have a $4 List like Walmart, Target and Kroger stores do, so if you don't have insurance and it's on the $4 list is going to be more expensive. Our cheapest is 11.99 without insurance.

**Just FYI, in case anyone doesn't read the fine print, these coupons will not work if you have state and/or federally funded insurance, which includes the Federal Employee Program - such as Federal Blue Cross**
