After being with BBVA since Texas State Bank, I'm moving my money to Ally. Why? BBVA checking offers 0.01% Interest while Ally delivers a 0.4% with none of the 'you must make 12 transactions per month' bs. A kindle fire is not worth it IMO. Their customer service has been good when I needed it though..

I'm sure it would be. I know of no bank that wouldn't.

Says on the page in the fine print: Transfers made from PayPal, ING Direct, or from accounts owned by the accountholder (or related parties) at other financial institutions do not qualify.

It says "BBVA Compass may report the value of the bonus to the IRS as required by law." on the offer page.
