Got an email from DSW about their clearance. They have a ton of solid deals, but I thought this one was particularly good. Shoe typically goes for $125, but it's on sale for $36.94 with free shipping.

DSW is also offering double rewards points on their clearance purchases.

Free shipping code: SHIPR
Double points code: GIMME2

I ultimately decided to pass. Although I really wanted a burgundy plaint toe blucher, I didn't feel like it was worth even $40 for a pair that'll wear out after a few months in modest rotation.

Can someone please comment on the quality of this one. Please.

I have purchased several Natha Studio shoes from DSW, and I get about 2-3 years out of them wearing 2-3 times per week. So decent quality. NOT a $125 shoe - I usually get them for about $50.

I don't know what anyone's complaints are. These shoes are seriously $40 shipped to door. They're not gonna be the best, so stop expecting them to be. Quite honestly I picked up some extra pairs of the Bostonians. I bought a pair a few months ago for probably $10 more than they currently are and I LOVE the shoes. They are the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever owned. They look decent as well. For every day office wear they fit exactly what I need. Thanks for the deal OP!!!

My personal experience is that Natha Studio shoes are junk. No way these were ever $125.
One of the more relevant posts here...that's all I needed to know.

I bought some, I'll check them out and if they suck, they go back to DSW, no harm done.

I can vouch for these. I really like this shoe with my khacki colored pants, and have gotten compliments on them as well. Comfortable too.

Actually, I can vouch for dockers as well. They may not be the classiest or most expensive dress shoes, but mine have held up through about 2 years of light use and 9 months of heavy use (4+ days a week). They need to be polished at the moment, but they're still holding up well. They also seem to run true to size, here is the model I have:

Doesn't seem like anything DSW sells is made well, just overprices junk

Do yourselves a favor and save up for a pair of Allen Edmonds and thank me later.

If you're really on a budget, cruise the thrift store racks. Found a gently used pair of Allen Edmond Sanfords for 7$

Only one left in my size. Figure by the time I register for shoprewards free shipping and checkout it will be out of stock, and I'll have to deal with spam for a few days. No thanks.

For some of us it is a waste of money to buy expensive dress shoes for every day wear. I wear out shoes extremely quick because of how I walk. For me to spend over 100 bucks on dress shoes every 9 months is an absolute waste. There are also no decent places to resole shoes around me and the one time I tried on my good dress shoes it wasn't up to my liking. I'll stick to my bostonians on sale for around 50.

I think his point was that the ~$300 AE's are leather uppers with a leather sole (unlike most of the ~$50 shoes that are rubber) and the AE's can be recrafted to like-new. As long as they're cared for they should last a few years, even with a lot of use.

To that point, I would love to get AE's, but can't justify $300 on shoes and have never been able to find them thrifting.
