I am having trouble accessing some files/folders and some administrators does not even have access to it. I am going to reset all the permissions but don't remember the default accounts. I have these so far.
BUILTIN\Administrators - Full Control - Applied to this folder, sub-folders, and files
SYSTEM - Full Control - Applied to this folder, sub-folders, and files
BUILTIN\Authenticated Users - Read and Execute - Applied to this folder only

Keep in mind, there are share permissions AND file (NTFS) permissions to account for/assign. Both have to be correct for proper remote file access. If you need more assistance, post your file server OS, environment (Active Directory or local accounts) and exact issue.
