i dont know man stop asking me questions, im not a intl. buyer.

i would assume they can easily register their card to paypal and then use paypal to purchase from ebay. that way they would have a paypal account and can easily have items shipped to various locations

vs

using their foreign credit card directly at like the google store which may not let their transaction go through since their shipping will be different from billing.

Out of curiosity does anyone here use a carrier b/c of the network voice/data is better than others in the specific location where they live? Verizon's network was always the best, but 5-6 years ago I moved to a building that for some reason had horrible reception re: Verizon so I switched to AT&T. I'm still with AT&T after the sickest retention deal ever (almost switched to the t-mobile value plan ).

most people are like this.

though some lucky few have great reception with all 4 major carriers.

The iPhone 5 and Nexus 4 use a very similar screen technology, and LG supplies Apple for some of the iPhone 5 panels. The only difference between the two devices is that Apple has taken the time to properly calibrate the display. That being said, I have changed the color values on my N4 and I'm very happy with the way the screen looks. IMO, the Nexus 4's screen is too bright, and PPI does not mean anything. The Nexus 4 has almost 200,000 more pixels than the iPhone. Also, black levels are never going to be phenomenal on an IPS, but I'm happy with them, and my last phone had an AMOLED panel.
Can I ask what you're using to adjust color? I was looking at this thread [xda-developers.com] and it looks like there are multiple color tuning options.

Thanks,
-Brett.

You bought a $400 phone for $280. What do you expect? I got burnt after buying a phone for almost 2 months and then suddenly one day, it stopped working because the seller reported its lost or stolen. Well hopefully you wont be bad luck like me.

I'm currently using Franco kernel [xda-developers.com] and I use his application [google.com] to adjust the color values. Faux's kernel currently has gamma settings, and some people claim that they're able to get better calibration with Faux's kernel [xda-developers.com] because of the ability to manipulate the gamma settings.

I like Franco's kernel because I can get around 4 hours of screen time on 3g only, and 5-6.5 hours of screen time by using mostly WiFi, and a bit of 3g. Both applications are $4.99, but they're both worth it.

Anyway, my current RGB values for Franco kernel, using his application, are 235,245,250. Whites are "whiter" and and the blue tinge seems to be gone. These settings also seem to retain the decent black levels. You can adjust the settings to your liking. From what I understand, Franco is currently working on his own version of gamma control. I used Trinity kernel with my Galaxy Nexus, and I loved his stock color values, with a few adjustments of my own. It really made the Gnex screen a lot better, and I know for a fact that the same will hold true with the Nexus 4, once development matures.

i would recommend to you, and anyone else doing (virtual) transactions by someone other then the carrier or authorized dealer to get the seller to write an email attach a picture of the IMEI number and even a copy of their drivers license (number and address can be blacked out).

When i list/sell phones i do that so the buyer knows that if i report it lost or stolen, then they have my written statement that I am selling them phone with IMEI #XXXXXX on this date, so they can always go back to the carrier and present it.

needless to say if a seller doesn't do that, you shouldn't buy it from them in the first place.
