Blendtec Commercial Refurbished Blender

ICB3 in Black for only $175 shipped. []

Use code: ICB175

I bought one a year back and it's amazing. The biggest knock is they are used. They call them refurbed, and that counts for the motor/board/etc but not the pitcher or sound shield. My sound shield arrived crackled and crazed, the pitcher was also scuffed from use. With that said, I'm almost tempted to buy a second one just for a backup. I'm pretty sure this thing will smash atoms if given the chance.

You'd have to call them. The lowest price you might be able to get now is $200 I think on eBay. Maybe they'll fix the coupon on the site if people contact them, or maybe the deal is now dead.

Dead. Called them, they said the coupon is good for 300 uses and it is all used up.

Are the cracks really not a problem? That kind of sounds like a big deal for something that is supposed to hold liquid. How can they sell something like that?

I received mine today and it is in awesome condition. While one can tell it's used, the buttons are not faded a bit, the base looks great, display is bright and clear, and the carafe, while pink (and labeled soy), is in excellent condition. I should also mention that the carafe/jar is labeled as manufactured in 11/09.

I went ahead and purchased a brand new wildside 96oz jar for $75 off Craigslist from a Costco employee. Also, for those who are wondering, the wildside 96 ouncer fits perfectly under the sound hood. The sound hood itself had hairline cracks (inside the plastic, not exposed). The hood is extremely thick, heavy duty plastic -- I'm not concerned about it.

Finally, performance (with the wildside carafe) was extremely impressive. First smoothie I hit the #2 button with a bunch of frozen fruit and yogurt and it blended it perfectly.

So happy I did this! Thank you original poster and Slickdeals!

I actually unboxed mine today. Although Ive had it since two days after the sale. Here is a pic of it without the shroud. Its is actually pretty damn good shape considering. The shroud of course was cracked and beat up but as you can see its not needed to function. The pitcher as well was beat up. Motor runs great. the base is clean and not many scratches at all.

Took 5 mins to program all the buttons.

Luckily I got in on the free Wildside jar promtion before Xmas. So this was a great great deal!Big Grin
