now that i am running a little more competitively, i'm looking for recommendations for good running socks at a reasonable price. mid/low cut, white. anyone have a favorite, or advice?
The Nike dri-fit low cuts are decent, but my personal favorite for running are Injinjis (the toe socks). It takes a extra minute to put each toe in, but once you've got them on they don't move or bunch up at all while running, plus they keep your feet cooler and less sweaty (think gloves vs mittens).
I bought them the last time this offer came around. I ordered and paid for L socks and they sent me XL socks. They wouldnt pay to return them. They wanted me to pay for shipping to send them back. They said I could exchange them at a BM store but there are none close to me. They F'd me and good. Even if it is a deal at $20, it's not a deal if you save money and can't use them. I give this deal a thumbs up but I give it 2 thumbs down for their bad customer service.
how to tell if these are the "full cushion"? thanks
I probably shouldn't have said that. I don't wear Nike socks and just assumed they were "full cushion" because they looked the same and didn't say half-cussion.
Btw, I only posted that because it's come up many times during Nike sock threads and I wanted to pass along the deals found at Academy, even though I don't work there or have anything to gain by doing so.
