People who cancelled the transaction got $40 back. Some representative made a wrong calculation and gave a few dollars more. $30 is the right amount.

P.S. Did any get the refund for the ink yet. I thought it is 48 hours already, but still receive nothing yet. I hope the representative didn't mess up again.
did you check staplesrewards.com? you have to click on "View All Redeemable Rewards" to actually see it.

Up to the manager based on proximity to the competitor and how they feel that day. It is policy to only accept hard copy not IP competitor coupons but they can let that slide if they want.

I don't think they have an official policy regarding this. However, it's up to the manage, You can call and ask them to save time, you're not asking about a deal, you're asking about a store specific policy). If they are willing to do it, it will be run as a price match.

Too.late...

pro tip... do NOT list ESET on ebay

these c**ksuckers are abusing their VERO membership 8 ways from sunday... so if you're not an authorized seller... they'll claim copyright infringement .. which is extra laffo, bc they claim you're violating the EULA .. on something you NEVER installed... apparently, just buying the software = entering into a licensing agreement with ESET

ESET might make a good product... but f*** their business practices...

clearly, they don't want any type of secondary market for their stuff... so their abusing VERO's copyright protection... and ebay just rolls over and pulls everything down (even completed listings are getting pulled down)
happened with me too. listed and sold 3 ESET and listing got pulled after the fact. No refund of the FVF though from ebay .. or the listing fees. I wish there was another marketplace other than ebay ..

did you get a listing violation even though it was after the fact?

this is the stuff of lawsuit material... I actually pitched the case to an attorney friend today..

course question is who is the class of people suing Eset... screwed ebay sellers.. or everyone who has ever bought eset's software...

Real quick question. I recycled 20 cartridges and the receipt shows that I owe them 1 cent each. Is i correct? Or it should show the price I will ge back thru' rewards?

Also my purchases from Feb are not posting up on staplesrewards. Looks like some problem?

Yes, you owe staple 20 cents...It should also say 20 cents instant savings.

Maybe I am just overlooking it. How come some people are getting $40 in ink coupons and others like me are only getting $30? Also, remember to look at the price of HP ink on your account. You may have the account specific discount, like I do. Look at my post above one example.

Some people got $40 back because they didn't even receive the bonus on 5 cartridges to start with due to some other issue bringing their ink below $50 (earbuds coupon, etc.).

Mine hasn't show up either, even though I was promised my $40. It has been well past 48 hours on mine too...it better be there by Monday.

Will be interested in how the following is going to work out. 1) Returned my online order of Lysol today (because rewards have not shown up yet) but forgot to give them the rewards number. Oops. Online orders returned w/o a rewards number never get subtracted from spend so the original online order will still be there. 2) Did a rebuy immediately in the store of the stock I just returned but did give them the rewards number. Will be interesting to see which (IF ANY) of the 2 transactions get the rewards for the Lysol. The original online transaction or the rebuy transaction in the store.

I thought you had contacted SR for rewards credit for the online purchase? Also, didn't they ask for your receipt to do the return?

Yes, I did, but someone posted they will get it fixed by 3/14. Don't want to wait for them to fix it. I was close anyway and went in to recycle ink carts. Yes, gave them the online order slip but the cashier never keyed in the rewards number on the return or asked for it.
