Thread Details

Searched and did not see this deal

Was in a Costco and there was a booth. The person told me, no annual fee, up to 4% cash back (she said it was more cash back than the usual Costco Amex Card), $75 signup bonus on the first statement

I signed up and received this email later that day

"We are pleased to approve your application for the TrueEarnings SM Business Card from Costco and American Express. We hope you'll continue to enjoy the benefits and services that come with Cardmembership. Your Card will arrive in the mail in 7 to 10 days.

Did not get all the details. sure you'all will

Yea, I kind of agree. Outside the 3-4% for gas, the $75 isn't an enough of an incentive to have my credit run.

My Fidelity AMEX pays 2% on everything and even that I had opened with a $100 cash bonus several years ago.

If a card doesn't pay at least $200, I tend not to open it.

A lot of the $400 have spend requirements that I can usually only meet with Square'ing myself payments AND these cards typically have an annual fee (Square Fee + annual fee (if not waived) gets close to $200ish anyways).

But yes, the higher the dollar figure, the more likely I'd be willing to apply. The NFL card bonus paid out $600 for me! The Southwest paid out about $700, IIRC.

NFL Card was $600 at one time? I got $400 and was happy with that.

In DC I go as little as possible. The crowd and rude folks are NOT worth it ever.
You clearly have not been to the NEW DC Costco... absolutely incredible compared to Pentagon City.

Was the NFL deal the 400$ and then the extra 20000 for 3 months spend?
