Original Post

This seems like a good price on the ProGlide razors for $2.50/a razor. I'm not sure it's supposed to work like this but I was able to clip a $4.00 coupon on the 8 count cartridge page and the $3.00 coupon on the 6 count cartridge page and when I actually purchased the 8 count both coupons were deducted along with Subscribe & Save.

8 count:

Item(s) Subtotal: $28.99
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Promotion applied: -$1.45
Your Coupon Savings: -$4.00
Your Coupon Savings: -$3.00
Total before tax: $20.54
Estimated tax to be collected: $1.78
Grand Total: $22.32

The blades go dull due to the chemicals etching away the cutting edge, not rust. Even the toughest hair is no match to a steel blade.
Interesting.. Never heard or thought of that.... Hair dryer thing sounds like 2 minutes taken out of my morning (not good), so I am seriously thinking of maybe trying the baby oil thing.

EDIT: I changed my mind. Some related discussion []

A comment that says it all:

I gently pat dry my blades on a dry washcloth and then dry off my razor. It takes all of about 30 seconds. I have no idea how long this might prolong a DE blade. I seldom keep a blade more than 3 shaves anyway.

mother effer. I just bought ONE for 3.50 on Amazon the other day. It sucks too because they're addon items meaning you have to buy $25 worth of stuff for them to ship.
