It has been a while since I've been in a relationship with someone, like four years. I met a girl online via online dating site and really thought I hit it off. She's attractive and has an interesting personality. I got her number last night and we've been communicating since then. Two questions:
I asked if she wanted to meet, response: "Maybe
"
How am I supposed to take that? Good/bad?
Also, earlier when we first met, she mentioned she's not the best at asking questions (ain't that the truth). So, I've been asking her some questions and been getting one word answers in return. Is this good/bad/neutral?
I don't want to screw this relationship up. Advice please?

You're a troll, dude.

I offer sound advice at times too, so it helps.
The only problem I run into now is when I actually need to ask something seriously, I wont know if it will be taken as a joke or as something serious.
look at what that got teo

I can already pick up girls though... I dont need the internet for that.
I wont lie, I do it sometimes too, you spend 30 mins on the computer and before you know it, it has been 2-3 hours (alright, in my case I was playing some game online). You can say and in a way do whatever you want on there and most the time people do not know who you are, so it is instant freedom. Anyway, the point is you still need to hang on to reality as well, and that is going out and meeting new people.
To the OP, I am assuming you are in college bc you I think you said so, so get out and meet new people, this time of your life and the place is the best for it. Especially if you are a freshman, and everyone if new, you can talk to any girl and practically they just hand you their number(s)...

Next time you are on chat .. say this.. "So, we're meeting this friday night, right?"
See what her response is to that. If she has an excuse, ask her when a better time would be.
In general, women like to be pursued, but they also like a guy that will take charge.
Be assertive.
Heck, she might be a bored married woman, just looking for company online. Or a dude faking being a woman.. Or countless other BS.. Be assertive and find out one way or another if she's willing to meet you or not.. Better to find out now, than to waste months of time chatting with false hope.
