I want to find a senior manager of customer service at Fidelity

dalokgawd 11,731 267 February 22, 2013 at 12:16 PM in Question
I need to send a letter to someone who actually has some authority at the company and googling "head of customer service for Fidelity" or "manager of customer service at Fidelity" is getting me nowhere. Does anyone know a surefire way to get a physical mailing address for like a Senior VP or something at the company? Someone needs to get in trouble and I have found that if you send a letter to someone way high up in the company, even if it gets passed down to someone at the level below that person, even they are usually in a position to actually get something done.

TIA! hug

Crap. You posted this one day too late. I already mailed the letter this morning. Does it really make that big of a difference to send it certified? Would they be less likely to ignore it if they know I know they received it?
They will still respond. Just makes you look more serious.

I've already put the wheels in motion to transfer my 403(b) out of Fidelity's custody. I don't know what an executive could tell me that would change my mind, but I just wanted them to know why they are losing my business.

It's a long story and trust me it's just gonna get a bunch of tl;dr's Stick Out Tongue

The short version is that they messed up big time, show no interest in taking responsibility for their mistake and making things right, so I no longer trust them with my money. I do not do business with companies that have such a low bar for an acceptable level of customer service.

Incidentally, in case anyone cares... my letter accomplished what I was trying to accomplish. I got a fee refunded that I didn't think I should have been charged.

Complaining FTW! Thumbup
